This was the best hotel in the area( in my opinion). It had the features of home, conveniently located to many areas of downtown. The staff was awesome. The fellas that helped us with our bags and groceries were top notch also. We will definitely be back.

Hard to find the front door. Left car keys with valet while checking in and received a ticket. One bedroom unit nicely appointed. Quiet. Very polite and helpful staff. This was a great alternative to a traditional hotel. The location was excellent, within an easy walk of most attractions in the historic district. The unit was well equipped and appointed, well decorated, and very comfortable. The additional living, dining and kitchen space made the stay particularly enjoyable and more welcoming for lazy mornings, dinners […] in, etc. You didn't feel the constant urge to leave your room as you might in a smaller hotel room. The price was comparable to traditional hotel accommodations in the area, and with all the extra space, it made this choice a bargain. I would definitely stay here again. Read more

I was not happy that after paying hotels.com that my credit card was charged again .The 2nd night was supposed to be a king size bed and payed more for that room but they kept me in the same room and didnt even change the towels not happy

Our stay at The Studio Homes at Ellis Square, overall, was enjoyable. The accommodation is up-to-date, with modern appliances. The bathrooms were clean, and the bed linens appeared nice and fresh. The layout of the room is excellent for accommodating 2 to 4 for guests. There were three in our party (I slept in one bedroom and my two friends shared the […] other bedroom). It was nice to have 2 bathrooms, each connected to a bedroom. The studio was roomy and is very convenient to have a full kitchen so that we did not have to rely on eating out. There were a few notable snafus: neither the coffee maker nor dishwasher worked. The non-functioning appliances presented a bit of a problem, however, the attendant responded to our request and brought a new coffeemaker. The dishwasher remained non-functional throughout our 2-day stay. Also, for those who love to wake up to fresh air blowing the curtains in the early morning, you will be disappointed that the windows do not open. This may be for safety reasons, but it makes for a bit of stuffiness in the room. The attendant on staff was extremely nice. Late in the evening, he made a fire for us on the rooftop and even sat and chatted for a while; a very warm gesture. I’d definitely recommend this as a very good accommodation when visiting Savannah. This review is specific to the Presidential Suite. I can't speak for other rooms, but understand that they are smaller and closer to the ground, making their views and noise levels not quite as nice. The Presidential Suite is very nice. The bedrooms are on opposite ends of the unit; good for privacy. The balcony has a good view over the historic district. […] The floor to ceiling windows make for a striking visual day and night. The bathrooms and showers are roomy and comfortable and the kitchen is perfect for warming up leftovers from all the great restaurants. Parking is under the building. While you have to pay for it, the rate is rather low compared to other cities. Don't bother with the valet. You won't need it. Overall, very nice, very spacious, very relaxing. That said, there are two things to know about. The location is great for touring the historic district, but... you're in the nightlife. There's a new bar across Whitaker that has live music until 2am on weekends. Great bands, but your bed is in the box seats for their shows. Also, we noticed there was a mouse trap in the second bedroom (and droppings in the utility closet). Honestly didn't bother us, and they are obviously aware of it and trying to do something about it, but still. Don't be surprised. Would return, but would do the Pres Suite again. Not the others. We highly recommend The Studio Homes at Ellis Square. It's an apartment time share and like living in your own new apartment in historical downtown Savannah. You get a whole kitchen, small loving room with giant flat screen TV, balcony, bedroom, and beautiful bathroom. The staff was helpful and friendly. Don't bother with the valet parking. Everything is easily reachable on foot from this hotel. The room was great, but no housekeeping on the first morning. Since we only stayed 2 nights, I didn't push the issue.

This is a timeshare property located across the street from the river. Ladies wear comfortable flat shoes if you plan on walking down there as there is a large area of cobblestone and bricks you have to walk across to get to sidewalks. Secured front entrance of the property is easy to miss. Use the buzzer to let them know you have arrived. Park at the […] curb in front for valet or park at the nearby parking garage. Overall the accomodations were nice and roomy. Although the description says it is a studio we stayed in a one bedroom. Note: there is however alot of noise during the day from construction going on in the building directly accross the street. It is centrally located across from Ellis Square and there are numerous restaurants and pubs and the evening we were there live music was playing outdoors just a few blocks away. This would have been prefect if out had not been for my valet experience. I had to wait 20 or more each time i needed to park my truck. No valet could be found. Once I had to walk next door in an attempt to locate the valet attendant.

This is a full apartment for the price of a cheaper hotel. No frills with service but the desk guy still brought us ice. I don't know why you would stay anywhere else for the price. Parking was a minor invonvienice but free in the garage so I don't know how you can really complain about that.

The accomedations were excellent!! Modern appliances lovely decor, very clean, the staff was very warm and helpful. It was like coming home everynight after touring the town. Just delightful, I will recomend it to anyone who is going to Savannah.

A nice no-service hotel. No housekeeping, gym, restaurant/breakfast available. Nice new rooms and a great location. Be ready for a time-share rep to try and sell you a time share of the hotel's units. This isnt mentioned anywhere and we were bothered twice in a two day stay with the offer of a sales pitch. Which we declined.

We stayed for three nites after being in Hilton Head. I can't say enough about this beautiful property. It's condo's and timeshares, not a lot of them either. Many people have commented on this being hard to find It is. My mother and I were standing on a corner looking lost, and a couple stopped to see if we were looking for the Studios! And the street […] out front is under construction. And like others have noted, the check-in desk is on the top floor. The people working that desk were amazing, by the way! My husband and I stayed here as a little getaway to Savannah and we loved every minute of it. The hotel has such a home feel to it and it is right in the heart of historic Savannah. We will never stay anywhere else when we go back.
