Overall, I was pleased with the stay. The room was clean, though I thought the twin beds were short (and I'm just over 5 feet tall). This may be typical of South America, but I'm not sure. I had a window over the entrance of the hotel, and there was a lot of noise from workers or people outside starting around 6 am. This may be the hotel construction workers, but it wasn't the best way to wake up during my vacation. My only other critique was poor lighting in the room. The bathroom had poor lighting over the only mirror in the room, and the main part of the room was lit with a bunch of small lamps. I had to turn on 4 lamps to have enough light to sort through my suitcase or read. I didn't see the other hotel rooms in the area, but I thought the room was overpriced for what it was. The lobby, exterior and pool area were all very nice, but the room didn't match up to the same level.

Nice layout and pool. Service was basic but friendly. The food was a bit dissapointing and the room could have been furnished better. Great environment in the jungle with buldings connected by boardwalks.

We loved staying here. The ladies are nice and helpful (one even speaks pretty good English). The breakfast is great. The rooms aren't fancy but are nice, clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to many restaurants and the bus stop.

Situated in Foz do Iguacu, Iguassu Guest House is close to Guarani Forest Zoological Park, Mercosul Shopping Mall, and Foz Do Iguacu Country Club. Also nearby are Cataratas JL Shopping Mall and Monjolo Park.

I was hesitant to book this hostel at first because it didn't have any ratings/reviews yet, but I had no choice because all hostels and cheap hotels... seemed to be full. They did reply to my emailed reminder, so that was reassuring. Everything was also great! Nice and helpful staff, clean rooms, and quiet surroundings. The city bus terminal, churrascaria and supermarket was a <5 minute walk from the hostel--really convenient. Plus, I had great roommates (coincidentally, all of us were scientists). The only downsides were that I emailed a request for transfer from the airport because i arrived 1am, in the email they agreed but they failed to do so on the day. Good thing the price was the same (R$45). Another would be my bill during the final checkout. I think I paid more than expected, but I was not able to ask for the breakdown because I had to catch my bus to Sao Paulo. The overall experience was fine, though. Ótima estadia, funcionários muito prestativos, ótima localização, bons quartos. Apenas a limpeza dos banheiros é que acho que teria que ser mais frequente.

Sehr nette, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, angenehme Atmosphäre. Einfaches Frühstück. Zimmer mit eigenem Bad liegen direkt an der Wand zur Bar, wenn man früh schlafen will, bei feiernden Mitgästen etwas laut.
