Close to TerminiGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location, by the Metro"
The room was very clean. The staff was helpful. Having your own bath in your room is great. The room is very small compared to rooms in the US. But for Europe, the room size was fine. Also, we only slept in the room, so we had no need for a lot of space to hang out. The hotel is located 150 feet from the Metro. The hotel is on the second floor of the […] building, and there are no signs telling you how to get there. But once you find the hotel, everything is great. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The location was convenient, but the leaking toilet and inconsistent hot water brought the quality down for me. The staff was helpful, but sometimes it took them awhile to answer the front door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to TerminiTrain Station and Metro"
Main reason I stayed in this hotel is its convenient location, the Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station is just a 100 yards from the hotel entrance and 1 Metro station ride form Termini train station. The hotel itself has a relatively modern/new interior, but could still use some maintenance. The faucet in the bathroom sink was loose, the water only drained […] very slowly (clogged sink). The shower enclosure did not seal properly, with the result that part of the bathroom floor was flooded after every shower. Bathroom also had sewer smell, which the hotel tried to cover up with an air freshener. Probably a missing Plumber's U that prevents sewer gases from coming back up the pipe. Otherwise the room was clean and in good condition. Neighborhood is multi-cultural, right around the corner is a cafe, a fastfood joint (Kathmandu, serves Kebab, Indian curry, Chinese Chow Mein) and a Italian Pizzeria/Ristorante. All of those serve good quality food at way better prices than what you pay in the city close to tourist spots. There is also a little supermarket right around the corner where you can get beverages at very reasonable prices. So the location is excellent as a basis for visiting Rome, the hotel itself average. "Apart for the location, nothing fantastic"
The location is good as it is very near the metro station. because hotel is located in a pretty old building, when you enter the building, it gives off the mouldy smell. Bathroom is quite okay, except for the lighting, which is VERY dim! I don't know about others, but I prefer the bathroom to be bright. the bathroom in this hotel is way toooooo dark. […] Hotel room itself i would find it pretty spacious, but furniture is very dusty... bed and pillows are quite comfortable. BUT, whenever we enter the room, there is a very unpleasant smell, like urination smell, those kind of smell you would smell if you been to stations in Europe countries like London, Paris & etc (if you know what I mean). We did ask the reception to spray some air-freshener when we first enter the room, but that unpleasant smell continue to linger around, so we suspect it might the the air-conditioning problem. So, unless you are okay with the lighting and smell, I would not really recommend this hotel.
"I wouldn't recommend"

There are 2 hotels that called "love rome" or the people there are cooperating , I have no idea. The 1st night we stayed in a nice room. To be honest the room was really cold in the night. I informed the reception but radiators weren't controllable. I was really cold. Second day for no reason they told us we ll go to another hotel "love rome1" . For sure "love rome1" wasn't worth the money at all. That's why there is not even one photo from this hotel. Really old, really cold with yellow walls that made my eyes hurt. Hot water not always available.Again the room was cold. I was trying to use the a/c but the person in the reception told me that radiators are for summer and a/c for winter. I don t care it's december and I am cold. The people in both hotels were polite but that doesn't solve the problem. The "Termini" area is not a good area , you don't feel safe. Find somewhere else to stay.
"Amazing service, great location, nice rooms"

At first the hotel doesn't look like much when you first enter but the rooms were very spacious, clean, and updated. The staff helped us book our tour around Rome, gave us maps, directions, & booked our taxi for the airport. They went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was an excellent hotel for the price

"Really nice budget hotel in excellent location"

This is really nice budget hotel in excellent location! We went for one week and whole rome was really nicely in hand from here. Room is air conditioned and has a small fridge and tv with HDMI connection and 11MB wireless which managed to handle netflix quite well. Rooms are clean and service is really friendly. There is small grocery store just in the opposite of the street and larger grocery store about 100 meters down that street. Lots of coffee places and in 150m quite good ones too. Dining places are about 500m away and most of them are really nice, some even excellent. Only downside is the elevator door which doesn't close automatically and every now and then people forgot to close it. If you live above 3rd floor that might be an issue. I would totally recommend this for the location and price/quality ratio!
"Value Vs Quality is good"

The hotel is not like any other hotel I know. It's in an apartment block and not everything is owned by the hotel. But, the rooms are really nice, clean and comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights, there was only one moment the elevator wasn't working, but it got fixed really fast. And they forgot to give us fresh towels once but when going to the desk and tell this we got fresh towels immediately. So nothing to complain about. The breakfast is a first for me. You get a card, go outside and get your breakfast in a coffeeshop next door. But, when we were enjoying our breakfast we saw other people with different cards from ours, so apparently that's a system being used by other hotels in the area. The breakfast is basic: a croissant (or another variation on this), an orange juice, a yoghurt and your choice of coffee. Enough for me, but I can imagine some people like a little more. We saw a couple with children, they could get another fruit drink instead of the coffee. For its value, the quality is really good ! The location is close to the Termini train station, 10 minutes walking distance, there is a Metro just 1 minute from the hotel.

Really nice hotel. The only odd thing is that you have to leave the room ket at desk everytime you go out, nothing wrong with that, just odd. Didnt have any problems. It has restaurants, Metro and cafes really close.
"Hotel at a nice location"
08/01/14 Thalia L The Netherlands
Spent a week with a friend at Hotel Rome Love in July 2014. The location is great, Termini is within walking distance and if you don't like walking there's a metro station right outside the hotel. You can easily walk into the heart of Rome too. The room was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly, their English was alright. We had some trouble with the shower when we arrived, we told the staff and they fixed it before we got back in the evening. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the elevator wasn't working half of the time, which isn't very nice when your room is on the 5th. Also I would recommend getting your breakfast somewhere else, you get a very small breakfast and you barely have any options. There's a few supermarkets close by.
"Great holiday "

We stayed here for 5 nights, at first sight you can be put off as from outside it doesn't look like a hotel however we were surprised to find a lovely room with lovely staff. Room was clean and had all you need for a stay in Rome. Subway is only a few steps from the front door, which is great for getting around. Would stay here again.
This hotel was in a perfect location, the room had free wifi and was really clean and tidy - at a really cheap price as it's not cheap in rome! It is about under a minute to the nearest metro which you need to explore Rome. It's a bit daunting when you see the entrance and the stairs but you will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive at your room. I would definitely recommend this hotel
"Clean and friendly"
05/23/14 James B Rome
Hotel was in a great location, only 1 minute from the metro station. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the room was always clean. The hotel is on the 2nd floor of a nice building, and the lift that takes you up is made by Ferrari! I would definitely recommend this for a single or couples retreat.
