"Really stunning house!"
09/09/14 Travelaround59 London
33 is a lovely old house, tastefully furnished with antique pieces just a short walk from Florence City centre that is perfect if you do mind the million of tourists! The rooms are very nice and spacious with lot of individual furniture that make the place really special. I do loved the breakfast terrace : a stunning view on the roof tops. All in all is a very good value for your money... Will go back.
"Really great with garden setting"

We had a nice room in the basement which had direct access to the garden. There is an elevator that takes you up to the breakfast floor. A very cute place! Big rooms too with a nice rock shower and stand alone tub. Enrico the owner was cool and recommended us to a local restaurant that his friend recently opened. Location is a bit off center but that's ok, it's near the train station and a good base for trips to nearby cities.
"Lovely Boutique Hotel"

Trentatre is a villa that has been converted into a small hotel. Our room was huge with high ceilings and a nice size marble bathroom with stall shower. We had all the modern conveniences with italian charm. It is located on a busy street which is about a 10 minute walk to the old city and train station. we had a car and were able to find parking on the street. If you do not mind, not being in the tourist center of the old city this is a nice place to stay and represents good value.
"Very nice room"

Staff were very helpful on our arrival as we arrived late due to French train strike. The room was huge and very clean with a big comfortable bed. Lovely secure building with a lift and located not far from the train station. Breakfast is served in a pretty room upstairs and was typical continental.
We stayed here for 3 nights before heading to Venice and this is one of the best B&Bs that I have stayed in. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff (nothing is too much trouble) and it is super clean. Very large bedroom and more than sufficient en-suite bathroom. Continental breakfast had everything that you could need to set you up for your day walking around Florence. About 15 or so minute walk from the train station (but easy to find) and maybe half an hour in to the centre of Florence on foot but we like to stay out of the madness of cities. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Florence and recommend to others.
"Classically Furnished B&B/Hotel in Florence"

This is not really a B&B, it is a hotel. I say that because the staff does not live there, but it did not matter. My wife and I stayed in room 2.2 and it was very classy with up-market antique furniture, a big ante-room which I used as an office (with a good size safe), then a large bedroom with a king bed and reasonable bathroom (shower only), plus a lovely little balcony. The balcony also allowed us to hand wash clothes and dry them there discreetly, nobody could see onto the balcony (see photo). Breakfast was OK without being really great My one complaint is that I did not find the bed comfortable, it felt like a Japanese Futon-style mattress, which personally I found too hard although my wife thought it was OK. I would not stay there again, simply because to me the bed quality is a very high criteria. But if you like firm bedding, I recommend this place. Free unrestricted parking outside, with lots of spots available after hours. Just a short walk to the centre of town - about 10 minutes. Bus available at door.

Fabulous property and staff @Trentatre .. Close to everything and extremely tastefully done ! Great service and breakfast . Its by far the best b&b ..more value than a hotel. SMN station is a walk away and tour pick ups are easy. Will stay again when visiting Florence .
"Luxury B&B in Florence"

It was a joy to come back to Trentatre each evening where we could relax in our lovely room. We had a spacious room with en-suite shower room which was spotlessly clean. The large comfortable bed with crisp sheets felt really luxurious. Breakfast is served on a wonderful light and airy terrace and there is a good choice of things to eat. It is a short walk from the bustling city centre. Highly recommended

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2014, in a room for two. Location: a short walk from the major train station (Santa Maria Novella), but in the opposite direction from the main tourist area. As a result, it does take a pretty reasonable walk before you get to the banks of the Arno from the hotel, but to be fair, it is a nice walk. If you plan to simply stay in the centre of town, you probably won't need to take public transit to get there. Rooms: Wow. Given the price that we paid versus the usual hotel room rates in Florence, we did not expect rooms that were this... nice! The room we stayed in was really large by European standards, with almost an anteroom when one arrives. Furnishings had a lot of character, and made for a very pleasant stay. The internet was included, and fast enough to actually be useful. Common areas, including the breakfast area, were really tastefully appointed. Service: Breakfast is lovely, and the service is great. Like all B&B's, there's not always someone working at front desk, so do let them know when you plan to arrive before you actually get there. They're quite proactive about this, and will send you a separate e-mail after your booking. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Note: if you open any windows - or even if you don't - be careful of the mosquitoes, and make sure to kill any you see. We didn't realize that this was important, and the bites that we had to show for it after a night were a huge annoyance. Overall: a really nice place to stay in Florence when travelling, and a really good value given the prices of some of the hotels and B&B's. Strongly recommended.
"A Four-star Boutique-quality "B&B" -- Stay here if you can"

At the Trentarte we enjoyed a very sizable room, very tastefully decorated, and absolutely quiet, overlooking a garden in the back. There is no way this hotel can be rated other than as excellent unless you have been brought up to expect nothing but five-star experiences and pampering of a type that would be expected by a prince or duke. We were "punching considerably over our weight" is selecting this fine hotel. The perfect place for a three-four visit to Florence, we (who had been to Florence before), were only able to spend one night. We'd certainly book here again if we could. The breakfast was plentiful and good and I couldn't expect more in a hotel catering only five guest rooms (although we had more choices at another good hotel in Salzburg). All in all, if you don't like the Trentarte, then you likely shouldn't leave your palatial home. Florence is walkable, though public transport (buses and trams) stop nearby the Trentarte.
