Loved every minute of our stay, the ambience of the hotel plenty of lounges, felt as if we were coming home. Food excellent, very friendly staff. recommend it to everyone. Thankyou. Easy walk to town, beautiful location, lovely old building

What a lovely setting for a once gracious property. Sadly this great lady needs a bit of looking after. We even had a vine growing through the window at breakfast. Remove the 70's wood panels and re tile bathrooms and we would have given it a higher rating. Oh, and walls very thin. We were woken by our neighbours doing you know what!

With golden wallpaper, wooden paneling and decor that was the height of 70s fashion, this cozy hotel is 5 minutes walk away from Bowral's main attractions. Overall we had a great time. Excellent service from the owner. Quirky place with a range of older features which at first glance seem as though they all need upgrading, such as the 1980's type spa/pool area. But then it all grew on us and added to its charm. In a quiet, peaceful location. The room was clean and comfortable but severely dated - although adequate. The breakfast was very ordinary. The interior would benefit with an update, the upstairs floorboards being very creaky and the decor very tired looking. Staff were courteous but uninterested.

We stayed at the Manor for 3 nights in January. The hotel is nearly 100 year old. The decor is traditional. Rooms have been renovated. Bathroom was small. Room had a new TV with free to air channels. We found the breakfast to be good and the service friendly. We even had a dinner at the hotel which was good and the price was fair. Berida Manor was a very pleasant surprise. Charming place to stay for a getaway. Room was very comfortable; check in was easy and friendly, breakfast was tasty and hearty. The indoor pool,spa and sauna was excellent. There is a restaurant on site with an amazing menu however as we stayed Christmas Eve it was not open (hope to try it next stay). Rooms are terribly antiquafed (think furniture and decor from 70s) poorly maintained and smell worse than ur grandmothers laundry BUT activities give it a bit of a leg up - snooker, pool, chess, piano, table tennis which boosts our overall rating

We arrived after 6pm and were only there for 1 night. Greeted on arrival and shown to a large room. Stay was fine. We were a little disappointed that though our room rate included breakfast, as we needed to leave by 7.30am to return to Canberra we were unable to eat as the dining room didn't open till 7.30

For the price this hotel does not represent value. Whilst it seems all hotels within the Highlands area are over priced and certainly this one is of a lower price than many others the hotel's fit out and upkeep was very disappointing. The bathrooms appear to not have been updated since the 80's and generally are unpleasant. The rooms would be akin […] to staying in a 2 star pub. The staff were helpful and friendly and the building itself has a nice country appearance, however we won't be returning due to the really poor rooms. Read more

A "self-categorised" 4 star accommodation, which is nowhere near 4 star in services or presentation. Would equate with 3 star, at best, by Australian standards. Old and generally very run-down, with musty rooms, shower head over high-sided bath with small shower curtain, making getting in/out a difficult experience. Lighting in ensuite is woeful with […] old lights behind dank and dirty lenses. Very difficult to apply make-up in there. At least the rooms were a/c, with effective and quiet self-standing, remote control a/c units. Rooms at rear were upstairs with no access for disabled - more typical of English B&Bs. Very good cuisine however in old style restaurant area, with dim and unimaginative setting - not a candle to be seen. Bar area not well-stocked or well-managed with even a request for a jug of cold water not able to be met. Parking at front is limited and extra parking at rear is quite low grade requiring a longish walk along an uneven brick path and up steps through the back entrance. No under cover parking available anywhere. Considering the tariff, quite a disappointing experience generally, when a stay in a "real" 4 star establishment at Darling Harbour, Sydney, in peak season (Christmas) cost considerably less per night. Very nice exterior at the front, but the entire hotel needs an extremely over-due refurbishment. The place feels very tired, dated, and it smells old. The front desk staff is very friendly though.

We & another couple travelling with us had a wonderful experience at Berida Manor. The staff could not be more helpful & special mention should go to Barbara who made our stay so enjoyable. The rooms while not luxurious were more than adequate & very comfortable. Our meals (evening dinner & breakfast) were excellent & with good size servings. The hotel […] was like stepping back to a time when comforts were important with Berida having several very well appointed & comfortable lounge areas were you could sit, relax & have a chat with friends without having to stay in your rooms. Some of these lounges had entertainment other than just TV with billiard table, chess set etc as well as cosy open fires for the cooler weather.There's a tennis court & let's not forget the INDOOR pool/spa area.
