The location is good. It is next to the subway, train,street cars and bus stop. It is easy to get to the down town or the castle from there. One big compliant is that on Hotel.com and the hotel web site it advertises the pool area. I went there for the first time 2 years ago and was told it was under repair. Returned 4 times since over a two year period and still no pool. One of the staff members told me there are no plans to repaired the pool. Fine but it should be taken off the advertisement.

My second hotel stay in Budapest. Great place, clean, comfortable great service. I'll probably look for another next time, because Wifi was like $25 a day. C'mon! Its actually free at the pub across the street. Anyway, I stayed here because I felt like I got a good deal on the room, and its near a good shopping area. They do have great meeting facilities if you have a business group. Great views of the Chain Bridge and Palace!

We spent two nights here. Everything was great except the wifi was very spotty, close to nothing, in our room. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Room was big and the bathroom was decent size as well.

Description of Boomerang Hostel - Budapest

Location.
Situated in the heart of Budapest, Boomerang Hostel is within walking distance of St. Stephen's Basilica and Hungarian State Opera House. Also nearby are Szechenyi Chain Bridge and Parliament Building.

Property Features.
Guests are served a complimentary breakfast. In addition to tour/ticket assistance and laundry facilities, Boomerang Hostel features an elevator (lift). Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. Additional amenities include express check-out and a television in the lobby. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle during limited hours. This is a smoke-free property.

Bonne ambiance de l'accueil et les communs style auberge de jeunesse. Le petit déjeuner est basic.Le studio en duplex est un peu biscornu -un lit à l'étage, escalier sans rambarde. c'est petit mais bien équipé. idem pour la salle de bain .un ascenceur fonctionne car l'hotel au 3ème et 4ème étage; Emplacement trés bon pour une première visite proximité […] immédiate de la ligne de tram.
