Gran Hotel Europe - El Vendrell

The Platjador was wonderful and the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The rates were very reasonable and the breakfast was terrific. I would definitely stay here again.

Atenea is a good place to stay if you are going to Vilanova i la Geltru. the suite was comfortable and had everything that I needed. The kitchenette is complete with everything except pans and is ideal for fixing small snacks and breakfast. The hotel is very close to the beach though not so close to shopping (groceries). This was my second stay here and I will stay here again if I come back.

The Alenti's location couldn't be more central, just one block from the beach on a buzzing bustling side street known for its bars and eateries. The hotel defines minimalist chic: perhaps a tad too starkly Starck-ish in design yet comfortable nonetheless. Rooms are smallish but well-appointed with such necessities as Wi-Fi and laptop safes. Despite the primo location, street noise is fairly minimal. Staffers' English (well, my Spanish) could be slightly better, but they're friendly and willing to help with recommendations. Lack of parking is a drawbck, though there's a small public lot one block away.

The Hotel is excellent, located next to the Harbour with many Restaurants, Bars and the beautiful San Sebastian Beach. Service, breakfast, room (big with great bathrooms) are great. ALL the views are towards the sea and are great. Highly recommended.

We stayed here in September 2012 for 4 days - our first stop on our first trip to Spain. We took a bus from the airport when we arrived which took about 45 minutes or so. When we left, we took the train to Barcelona so its easy to get there and back. The location of the hotel was perfect. After reading the other reviews I spent the extra money and got a room on a high floor with a balcony and a view of the ocean and it was worth it. The rooms were small so the balcony was great to have. It did have plenty of closet space. The hotel was very clean and quiet when we were there. We paid for the breakfast and that was glad we did - there was plenty to eat, nothing spectacular but lots of choices. The hotel had bicycles to rent so we did that one day which was lots of fun. And the ocean was warm and the beaches clean. We would definitely stay here again.
