We very much appreciated the helpfulness of the staff and its friendliness. The hotel is literally next to a subway stop, and it is a short walk to the Vatican sights. The WiFi worked well. The breakfast was not extensive, but it was good. It was a very nice stay, and I would stay there again.

In the morning they serve the best coffee I have ever tried in my life, & just for this coffee alone it's worth staying in the hotel:) The location is superb: literally 2 steps from the metro, 2 blocks from Vatican, in a beautiful street, close to very cosy little shops & cafes & gelaterias. The staff are all very friendly & speak English quite well. The […] rooms are a tad old & super tiny though. & the shower especially was so miniscule, that once you drop say your shower gel & bend down to pick it up, you can't but bump your head into the door... There's no sound insulation whatsoever. So once they start getting the tables ready for breakfast at 6am, you can hear the clinking of the tableware, the voices, the phone ringing & even the sound of the reception computer being turned on. As a result, you can't but wake up. & trust me, having to wake up at 6am on your vacation is upsetting! Read more

Literally right next to subway station, but great neighborhood. Fairly close to Vatican. Hostel is in secure building, very tidy. Room was clean and had cable tv. Free wifi. The free breakfast consisted of pre packaged foods.

This place was better than I expected based on other reviews. Since it was very cheap in comparison, I was a little apprehensive after having booked it, but I figured that we were only in Rome for 2 days and that we would really not spend much time in the room. Also, we chose a room with a shared bathroom in an effort to save some mula. At the end of […] the day it all worked out, there were 2 bathrooms that were shared by 3 rooms and it wasn't a big deal. every time I tried to use it, it was free. And, the owners made a big effort to keep the bathrooms clean. After someone showered, I would see them run in there and clean up for the next person. The best part was that the metro was literally right outside the door! And, the Vatican was a 7 minute walk down the street. It was perfect. Also, there was a very good restaurant right outside the front door. The waiters were very nice (something we didn't experience everywhere as tourists) The one complaint I have about this place is that the walls are paper thin. We had a room that faced the street and we could hear everything that was going on outside. People yelling in Italian, cars honking, dogs barking, I mean EVERYTHING! The first night the noise from the busy street outside kept me up, but compared to all the other things that could have gone wrong and the price we paid, overall it was just fine. The old man at the front desk was always very nice. I wouldn't mind staying here again if I could get a room not facing the street! Read more

I stayed at wonderful time Rome b&b recently we found it very difficult to actually find the hotel entrance there is no sign or name just a small written sticker by the Door buzzer! The hotel was cosy and perfect for our weekend stay! Especially as it was next to the metro! The rooms were very clean and loads of space and place to store your clothes! […] The only issue I had was the bathroom run one time it was hard to get in the shower as there was a queue to get in but they were very clean. The continental breakfast offered was not to my taste so I would advise avoiding this and experiencing a few cafes around the area which serve delicious pastries and better coffee ;) The overall stay was a good experience we had a fabulous time in Rome and would stay in this b&b again but would just not stay for the breakfast! Definitely a charming historical hotel in an ideal location right in the heart of the Vatican area. But the manager is elderly and very strict about all his house rules. The bathrooms need attention for daily upkeep. Linens only changed every three days.

Værelset var fint og udemærket service på hotellet. Morgenmaden og kaffen foretrak vi efter første dag at indtage ude i byen. Men et udemærket sted til prisen.

OK Rooms , but with no luxuries. Internet actually works, unlike many hotels in Europe, which is great. Limited breakfast, but decent. The old gentleman who looks after the hotel seems grumpy at first glance, but he is actually a really really nice guy! Located less than 10 meters from the subway.

Hôtel très bien situé. Juste au pied du métro, et à 5 minutes du Vatican.Petit déjeuner sommaire, café ou chocolat quasi froids tous les matins. Si l'on veut un jus de fruit, c'est à la place du café ou du chocolat.Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas et la directeur (?) (personne très âgée) s'en fichait totalement. De plus, il s'énerve rapidement, dès qu'une […] question ne lui plaît pas. Les serviettes sont changées tous les 3 jours, et à partir du 2ème jour, nous n'avons plus eu ni shampoing ni savons fournis ! Dommage car la situation de cet hôtel est très bonne. Un accueil plus chaleureux + une écoute et une prise en considération de la clientèle en feraient un choix idéal. Read more

Fin rengøring, men forfærdelig lugt om aften. Muligvis fra restaurant i bygningen. Fantastisk morgenkaffe, men morgenmaden er ikke noget at skrive hjem om!

Una buona opinione generale dell'albergo, personale molto gentile. L'unica cosa negativa era il bagno condiviso (pulito, ma meno comodo per gestire il tempo), e magari la pulizie degli asciugamani... Comunque siamo rimasti molto contenti, sopratutto perché l'albergo è collocato vicino al Vaticano, immediatamente all'uscita della metro Ottaviano, e abbastanza […] vicino dal centro storico di Roma, anche a piedi. La colazione è semplice ma niente male. C'è una conessione Wifi, o se non avete computer (come noi), c'è un internet center quasi sotto l'albergo. En hyggelig gammel mand der nusser rundt i receptionen er det første man møder. Han er et leksikon som kan svare på alt om Rom hvad angår åbningstid, pris eller kortanvisning. Morgenmaden er meget simpel, men rengøringen særdeles i top. Fælles bad og toilet på gangen er ikke et minus da det er nyt og meget rent.
