This hotel is all about location and value. The hotel room pictures show a very Spartan atmosphere, and for what you pay, it's pretty much what you should expect. Its best attribute is its location followed by the Staff. It is within 5 minutes of everything without being in the middle of it all and having to deal with the noise at night. It does not […] have a rooftop bar but there are multiple ones just around the corner. Its staff is very thoughtful and make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Case in point...We arrived really late, and instead of keeping us at the front desk checking in and filling paperowrk, the owner gave us our keys so we could drop off our stuff and get dinner before things started to close. We "officially" checked in the next day. You don't get that level of thoughtfulness in other places. On the downside, the linens were worn and faded with a couple of spots, the blanket was thin and just because AC is an amenity, it does not mean there is heat. If traveling during the summer, this is not a problem, however winter nights get pretty chilly (35-40F degree). I was freezing the first night, however the next morning I asked for additional blankets which made the second night much more comfortable. The bathroom is an open design (no shower door/curtain), but water pressure and temp where superb. And in the AM pigeons get together in the area so lots if bird noises. Our stay was comfortable. Our attendant named Pandit was responding to our requirement quick. Few things if added to rooms like TV, & cafe service will make it more enjoyable. It turned to be good choice for us. Located among bargain shopping area and eating places. Great lake View.

Wonderful eclectic hotel right on the water, with excellent views of the Jagmandir resort and island hotel. Close to good restaurants and shopping; in the core old city. A real treat, and good value. Clean and comfortable.

Great hotel for great price. this was my second trip and it did not disappoint. Friendly staff and great location - a king size room for a very decent price. Don't serve meals, but nice restaurants right next door.

Although the havelli faces the lake, it is surrounded by narrow streets and noisey traffic. The rooms lack facilities such as cupboards closets mirrors with very low grade towels and bedsheets. the showers are open facility without any curtains.

Lovely place to stay. Clean room, gorgeous rooftop view of the whole lake. Breakfast and all food yummy, cheap and SAFE. Cooke by the owners wife. You' see the owners dad hanging around the place and he is seriously a very helpful man. When his son is not around he will get things organised for you. The housekeeper is a top man that will do anything […] for you. Wired internet and WIFI only available in the downstairs lobby. The owner is a wonderful man that got up very early in the morning to check us in and also early again to check us out. If you go to Udaipur it's a place you must stay in. Great place at the edge of the lake with spectacular terrace view of the lake Palace. Roof was quite large and decently furnished. Food was great, though the hotel is surrounded by eateries for all tastes No hassles, even though I checked in at 3 in the morning. We had a great time. Thank you.

Das Gebäude an sich ist schön. Aber die Zimmer sind extrm einfach eingerichtet. Die Fotos versprechen mehr, als das Hotel hält. Vor allem das Badezimmer ist eine Zumutung. Es dauert ewig, bis etwas warmes Wasser kommt, der Standard ist extrem gering. In den Bettlaken waren Flecken. Wählen Sie ein anderes Hotel!!!

"It's a cozy and lovely place." occurred to me at the first glance of its little courtyard. The small lanes in the front is just quiet and so different from the surroundings. However, the room is ordinary and especially bathroom is basic. With a four star hotel rates, I think its quality is far away from the price. This is so not professional and allocation of room does not well organized or planned. We stayed two nights. and no room cleaning at all. no towel change. Even no glasses for teeth brush. Sehr angenehmes Hotel mit guter Lage in Udaipur. In der Nähe liegen die wichtigsten Seghenswürdigkeiten, die alle zu Fuss zu erreichen sind. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, das Bad sehr sauber.

Hôtel parfaitement situé : vue sur le lac, le Lake Palace et le City Palace depuis la terrasse. Personnel très agréable. Manque juste le petit déjeuner mais il peut être pris sans problème dans les nombreux hôtels autour.
