The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food was great. The complimentary breakfast had a great assortment of cheeses, meats, fruit, cereal, and croissants and bread. . It is across the street from the lake so the view is pretty from the rooms.

My wife and I travelled to Lugano for a business meeting that I had and we chose this hotel so that she could enjoy the city while I attended meetings. Everything is well within walking distance of this hotel, while they also have nearby parking as we had a car. Our room fronted the lake and we also enjoyed the view from the breakfast room the following morning. It is an older hotel with character and an efficient staff. We would stay here again.

This hotel is fantastic. The views are amazing! The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable and the staff is pretty fantastic. It is however, up a very steep hill and walking to town is not really an option. Taxi's are very expensive to and from the hotel, but the surrounding towns are worth it. Find another place to eat in town. The restaurant in the hotel was a terrible experience. Crunchy risotto and pasta, raw veal and chicken and the bartender did not understand that rum is not tequila. The bar itself leaves much to be desired. We were charged full price for the horrible dinner, and the negotiation about reducing the charges for a REALLY BAD dining experience, was very difficult. The manager was really not willing to reduce the bill as much as I would have liked to see for the horrible food. Avoid this issue by eating elsewhere and the rest of your experience will be lovely.

There is little that cannot be said of this hotel. The location and grounds are gorgeous; the main villa is beyond beautiful; the service was outstanding from check-in to check-out. My fiancee and I traveled to to this hotel during the off-period right before New Year's. We were put into a suite in the main building. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The mini-bar was complimentary and replenished daily. The service throughout the complex was excellent. Perhaps the nicest surprise of our stay was the spa. Built underneath the main building, the spa featured a large pool with a number of fun features. The four treatment rooms, modeled after Earth, Air, Wind, and Fire, were a great place to have a couple's massage. This hotel is a wonderful getaway for a romantic trip to a truly gorgeous location.

Make sure if you want modern comfort, you select Ibis Pardiso, and not Ibis budget. Rooms were good, little smaller. Its downhill walk from train station, so its ok with our rolling bags, but going on steep up-hill is only for fit body!!. Take the bus instead.

No frills budget hotel. Very reasonable for the Lugano area. Although the room was fairly small it was spotlessly clean with a nice modern en suite shower room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole hotel was clean, bright and modern. Would recommend to anyone seeking affordable accommodation in an expensive area.

On ne peut pas demander à un ibis d'être original. Rien de très surprenant. Qualité ibis! Propose, stérile sans âme. Pour un voyage d'affaire cela va très bien. A noter toutefois que le parking de l'hôtel est payant et que pour 24h c'est 20.-frs!!!

Érdekes koncepció, hogy egy épületen belül három különböző szolgáltatási szintű és kategóriájú hotel kapott helyett (mindegyik egy lánchoz tartozik), így akár az egyszerűbb és a drágább hotel részleget is van lehetőség kipróbálni. Mi az IBIS és az IBIS Budget részt is kipróbáltuk, mindkettő […] megfelelt az igényeinknek, business utazóként. A recepciós munkatársak nagyon kedvesek és segítőkészek voltak. - Klimaanlage funktioniert nicht, Dusche hatte kein Wasser oder nur tropfenweise aber dafür kaltes Wasser. zuerst erhielten wir ein bereits belegtes Zimmer. danach ein Zimmer, wo die Tür nicht aufging, erst im dritten versuch ein leeres Zimmer.

The room was clean and cozy although it was not that big. Staffs were very kind as well. For 2 nights, it was comfortable for us. But parking is not free for the guests. The old town is little bit far from the hotel but it is possible to go on foot(about 15min to go).

Bon hôtel. Les employés sont extrêmement gentils, aimables, serviables et toujours prêts à vous rendre service si besoin (j'en ai fait l'expérience). Sa localisation est pratique pour découvrir Luagno (lac,centre) à pied. Les chambres sont petites mais très bien agencées, la décoration n'en est pas vraiment, c'est très neutre (moderne, aucun parti pris). […] Ce qui peut surprendre est la salle de bain qui est conçue d'un monobloc (comme en France on le trouve souvent dans les hotels basprix type formule 1). Les bémols : le prix du petit déjeuner est élevé (15chf par personne) mais grand choix au buffet sucré & salé, ainsi que le parking (20 chf la nuit); il n'y a qu'un seul ascenseur pour l'hôtel ce qui provoque un certain temps d'attente car pas d'escalier. L'hotel è situato in un comune appena limitrofo a quello di Lugano pertanto non è proprio centrale, sebbene il centro sia facilmente raggiungibile con bus n.1 e il n.2 che tra l'altro và e viene dalla stazione centrale. La location è incantevole sulle pendici del monte San Salvatore. Le camere sono nuovissime e ben pulite. Il bagno in realtà è un monoblocco […] prefrabbicato, ma nel complesso ben fruibile. Da consigliarsi se si ricerca un buon punto d'incontro tra costo e servizio. Se vi piace la buona pasticceria a venti metri c'è ne una storica di Lugano...da evitare invece i ristorantini lì vicino molto meglio al centro per pochi franchi in più. Read more

abgesehen davon dass es nur ein 4 personen Lift hat und dabei Wartezeiten entstehen wenn die 20 köpfige Gruppe Asiatischer Touristen auf die gleiche Etage müssen, oder das kurz vor Mitternacht, 2 Stunden lang die Sirene des Brandalarms in unregelmässigen Abständen ihre klangqualität allen schlafenden Hotelbewohner demonstriert, und die Entwertung der […] Parktickets nach mehreren Märschen zwischen Barriere und Reception dann auch funktioniert hat, wäre das Hotel eigentlich gar nicht übel....
