The good thing about this hotel is rates are rock bottom by Japanese standards. They provide a hot breakfast in the morning, though if you are vegetarian like me, you will be happy to enjoy toast, veggie salad, soup and juice. Free Wifi in the lobby was great when it worked. Sadly, the second night and morning I was there, the wifi wasn't working, and no one seemed to know how to get it up again. This inconvenience was made small because I could use the internet in the subway for free. My room, though cozy, was comfortable to sleep in, even without a heater. I just used the comforter and enjoyed my sleep. The refrigerator was useful, and being just a 5-7 minute walk from the subway, location was great. I think I would stay at this hotel again if I ever go back to Fukuoka because of price and location.

I would recommend this hotel to those who want to experience hot spring in the hotel. A convenience store is just below the hotel. Next to the hotel also a shop selling a very delicious chicken.

Located in Fukuoka (Hakata), Hotel Route-Inn Hakata Eki Minami is close to Sumiyoshi Shrine, Tochoji Temple, and Kushida Shrine. Also nearby are Hakata Machiya Folk Museum and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum.

博多駅から少し遠いですが、送迎バスがあるのであまり苦になりませんでした。室内は掃除がよく行き届いていて清潔でした。折り鶴（従業員の方作？）が置かれていたのはいいですね。次回も利用したいです。Genuine Hotels.com guest review

駅から少し遠いが、夜中二時まで使えるラジウム温泉大浴場付きなのが嬉しい。化粧水なども大浴場には置いてあり、ビジネスユーザーには有難い心遣い。清潔感もあり、朝食バイキングの内容さえもう少し良ければ満足のホテル。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
