A quirky guest house in a great location transport links all close by including the older street cars routes 12 & 28. Room was really good , staff very helpful.Restaurants close by the best was The Rio Grande a Lisbon typical restaurant . Location wise good however the whole area is being up graded.This is not a HOTEL but a Guest House if you like porters […] and flunkies this place is not for you. From the very beginning we were warmly welcomed by Rita via e-mail correspondence. On arrival by Fatima. We loved the location. Close to the Mercado (Market), a local supermarket, transport, restaurants and bars. We were given an amazing amount of information upon arrival and when requested. Every day was greeted with warm smiles by the staff. The breakfasts […] were a delicious & filling. Each breakfast table had an in- house designed newsletter of the day. We were a group of 10. The rooms were large and high ceilinged. Each room had a view. We truly felt at home, and not that we were at a hotel. The hotel offered a communal refridgerator based on an honesty system. The reviews on here describe the area as a bit shady. But in truth, we never felt that our safety was ever compromised being in the area. The cab from the airport found the hotel easily because we had printed out the address and a map provided by Hotels.com. Travelling requires forward planning. Try to minimalise being out late at night in areas unfamiliar to you. When in doubt get a cab to your front door. Lisbon cabs are inexpensive. Any negative feedback about this hotel is based on a lack of common sense by various travellers. A bit of noise in the evenings stems from a cool cafe next door. But it ceased at a reasonable hour. If you choose a hotel next to a fresh produce market, then expect some noise. If these factors don´t bother you, then this place is a MUST. definitely give this place go. Read more

My husband and I stayed here over the weekend. The hotel itself is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable with double pane windows which helps to keep the outside noise out. However, the ceilings and walls are thin so you can hear people walking above you and coming/going into other rooms. The breakfast was not […] nearly as good as other reviewers have stated. Its a very traditional Portuguese breakfast of overly sugary pastries and nothing else. The location is close to the metro but since we were there to see the city center, that really wasn't helpful to us. There is a little cafe below that has good entertainment at night and good coffee/snacks during the day. There's also a 'farmers market' across the street where you can get fresh fruits and such. But other than that, the port area doesn't really have anything to see so I wouldn't recommend staying in that area. If we go again, we will stay closer to the center. Read more

Perfect guesthouse, will go back there for sure. The personnels are really cheerful and give you advices on where to go, what to visit.The rooms are beautiful the online downside for us was the size of the toilets (too small).

Detta var ett mycket trevligt hotell. Frukosten var nog bland det bästa jag upplevt i hotellväg! Färskpressad apelsinjuice och hemlagade pankakor varje morgon. Personalen var trevlig och väldigt hjälpsamma. Kom med förslag på sevärdheter och restauranger, allt med ett leende. Minus för hotellet är att området är rätt nergånget och hotellet ligger på […] en rätt smutsig bakgata. Å andra sidan ser ju halva Lissabon ut så.... Supertrevlig personal som gärna delade med sig av tips. Bra läge nära Cais do Sodré stationen vilket är bra om man vill ta sig mot Belém eller strand. Fint inredda rum. Enda negativa är att rummet var aningen litet, men det störde inte helhetsintrycket nämnvärt. God frukost med pannkakor!

Das Guesthouse hat uns wirklich positiv überrascht. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Stimmung im Team ist sehr familär und super freundlich.
