"Practical, clean, old world charm"
Business trip to a conference in the neighborhood. Quiet, comfortable, spacious. Not fancy, but excellent kitchen, TV, and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We liked this hotel and the people who work there very much! The building itself was erected in 1900, so it has all the character and ambiance of the era. Beautiful staircase and so on. Obviously the hotel was renovated multiple times but didn't loose its charm. The neighborhood is great, the American embassy just next door to you :). We love our walks […] to the Center of he most magnificent city in the world - Vienna. It takes less than 20 min, you can take a public transportation if you are not up for walking, but this way you are going to miss a lot of beautiful streets! If you arrived by car then ask Christian about the parking, he can give you tip for the parking which is only 7 min away (driving) and only 3 euro per day :) (free for weekends). You can keep your car there while you are in Vienna. That parking is just 4 stations from the city center. The hotel is super clean, their clean ladies doing outstanding job! I would like to say personal thanks to Christian, Michel, Angelica and Marcus who are just super nice and delightful people who made us feel like home. They are great source of any information you may need and hotels collection of information brochures is outstanding. Never the less - check online: a lot of museums have great deals on combination tickets as well as on Thursday some of them open till 9pm and one day of the month some of them are for free. "Above and beyond!"
Hotel/apartment was very quaint, in a nice quite neighborhood not far from the tram stop. Nice walk to the city center. I can't say enough about the staff. So helpful. Angelica went out of her way to give us directions and suggestions, I really thought she was the owner not just an employee. Apartment was clean, comfy and homey. We loved it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A great 'home from home' apartment, well located for transport to the centre and, thanks to the triple glazing, surprisingly quiet. Well equipped (including a massive TV!). Friendly staff and overall a very pleasant stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfortable & Safe in Vienna, Mondial Apartment Hotel"
10/23/14 759Anne Cairns Region, Australia
5 nights in Vienna with a 16 year old commands an apartment with separate rooms! Mondial was perfect, location was very good, only a 15 minute walk to the city centre even though there is a tram that will take you there in no time. Supermarket is right next door for self catering and the kitchen was well equipped for just that. Beds were comfortable enough. Daily housekeeping was excellent. Even though the Mondial is on a very busy road you cannot hear the noise when the windows are closed. The highlight of our stay at Mondial had to be the friendly & incredibly helpful & efficient staff. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend staying at Mondial Apartement Hotel.

I stayed for a few months in a lovely 1 bedroom apartment. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location and transport were most convenient. The daily service was absolutely impeccable. I highly recommend it for a short or longer stay.
"A superlative team"

We, a family group of 5 (3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child) stayed at apartment 16 at this property during our 3 day holiday stopover in Vienna, Apr. 29 - May 2. The apartment was well furnished and provided for, and the kitchenette facilities as well as proximity to good grocery shopping as well as to tram/train lines and local restaurants/coffee houses was a huge plus. A further advantage we felt was the quiet location on Pfluggasse that opened on to the busy Alserbachstrasse but retained its character. Throughout our very closely planned stay, the staff at the hotel (Angela, Christian, and Michael) went out of their way to make us feel at home with their warmth and thoroughness as well as help with unexpected situations. We had wanted to do a music concert at the Musikverein, and once we shared that with the Mondial team, they not only booked it for us but also obtained choice seating and collected the tickets from the hall for us to pick up when we checked in. Our family had a lot of fun while in Vienna and I credit this entirely to the wonderful stay at the Mondial Appartment Hotel. For all future trips to Vienna and whenever we'll be asked for recommendations, it just has to be the Mondial Appartment Hotel. I cannot offer sufficient positive comments enough to describe our really enjoyable stay here.

This Hotel is exactly as described on their website. It is very well situated on Tram and Train lines, and only 10 mins from the City centre, but it's charm is that it is far enough out of the city with many locally run cafés and restaurants with a few minutes walk. It really is like living in Vienna. We were upgraded on arrival to a one bedroom unit that was every spacious and well fitted out and the staff could not possibly be more friendly or helpful. Yes the building is old but is it well maintained, very clean and very comfortable. Would happily stay here anytime.

My husband and I stayed at the Mondial Apartment Hotel for just under a week and it was a total pleasure. The apartment we had was very clean and comfortable. The ceilings were lovely and high with numerous windows giving a real sense of space. We even had our own large sitting room with a little kitchenette off it. Very very quiet too, which is a huge bonus in a big city. The staff were unbelievably friendly and could not help us enough.....nothing was too much trouble. My husband is coeliac and the staff even went to a special bakery to buy a gluten free loaf for him. They also booked us a night at the opera. We have never experienced such a high standard of customer care at such a reasonable rate! Thank you Valerie, Marcus and Christian. The location of the hotel was perfect and it was very easy getting about on foot and jumping on the odd tram or two to the centre and the Museums Quarter. I actually cannot fault this hotel at all - it made our trip all the more wonderful and I highly recommend it - it is a real gem! Cannot wait to return soon!
"nothing too much trouble"

I stayed for four weeks at the Mondial Apartment Hotel while in Vienna for work. The apartments (I actually stayed in two different ones, as my trip was broken into two) were spacious and well-equipped, and warm and cosy against the Viennese winter. The location was ideal - good transport connections, walking distance to the city centre (if you're like me and enjoy walking), and a stones throw from the canal, for early morning runs. And the staff were really phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble and they took a real interest to ensure that you had everything you needed.

I stayed for four weeks at Mondial Appartment Hotel, and I really enjoyed it. Great location in Vienna, very nice rooms and apartments, and extremely kind and helpful staff. I would love to revisit and I can really recommend this place.
"The best ever"

From the extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff to the charming and well appointed rooms, this little gem is absolutely wonderful. While we had planned to stay at another apartment/pension in downtown Vienna (called the Pension Astra), when we set our exhausted eyes on the dreadful rooms, mismatched furniture, peeling wallpaper and filthy carpets, we knew that we couldn't stay there. Luckily, the Mondial had a suite available. When we arrived, we couldn't believe our good fortune. At only 20 euros more per week, the contrast couldn't have been more extreme. The bathrooms are impeccable, the beds and linens comfortable, the kitchenettes both clean and well equipped (coffee makers, dishes, pots and pans, and even coffee filters etc), and the overall atmosphere with its herringbone hardwood floors, high ceilings, comfy furniture, and original artwork, a harmonious marriage of old and modern. This is a hidden jewel of a hotel. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the Hotel for a month for both business and private reason and I enjoyed. It was situated close to multiple bus and tram stations, with a major rail system not far away. The hotel was quiet and comfortable, and I would stay there again.
"Home from home, value for money"
02/22/10 London023 London
A home from home for those who don't want to be just another number in an anonymous chain hotel. Familial feel due to its size and the charming, helpful staff. 5-minute-ride to the city ensures you miss none of the action but avoid the premium charged for location making this great value for money! The homely feel is great for those travelling with kids!
