This was a really unique place and I had a blast. I would think that business travelers would not be so interested, but it is PERFECT for leisure travelers looking for a unique Japanese experience. It is a very new building, specially designed. It is a capsule hotel, with individual private rooms with little TV's. But they also have double rooms with […] a little more space & privacy. All of it is done in the Ryokan Japanese style with tatami mats. Loaner items like hair dryers,umbrellas, int'l elect.plugs were convenient. The staff (great English)were very helpful, and provided a map of area attractions. There is a huge temple 2 minutes away. Had a great breakfast at the coffee shop across the street, and a splendid yakitori dinner the night before. Distance from the train station is about a 15-20 minute walk, but its right on a main street. If I dont have to entertain business clients and am just being a tourist...I am 100% staying here again. The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we arrived, helping us to navigate around, recommending restaurants and showing us bus routes etc. They even showed us every feature of the room, including the fancy showers that looked more like teleportation pods! We stayed 4 nights in a japanese style double room. The location is great, a walk distance (8 min) from the Kyoto station. Many options of restaurants and groceries surrounding. Good value for money - it's cheap, the facilities are pretty good. The wifi only works in the lobby which is annoying, but the room is nice, with a nice shower in the room, and the place is clean, and pretty close to the main train station which is also comfortable.

if you are looking for a low price one, it can be the nice option. even if the room and bathroom is too small(actually, there is no bathroom, but a bath-booth), the officer who served us was so nice. she was good at Eng, and helped us to try wearing traditional Japan clothes.

Etablissement bien situe pres de la gare de Kyoto. La chambre est petite mais tres pratique avec du rangement et les commodites dans la chambre. Ok pour un couple car la douche est dans la chambre alors pas beaucoup d\ intimite. Sinon le personnel est tres serviable et aimable.　On a bien aime.

优点：离JR站很近，步行10分钟左右。离西本愿寺非常近，步行5分钟。附近便利店也比较多。酒店的信息册很有用，包括交通、景点、餐饮，还有1－3天的旅游形成安排，非常方便。缺点:房间非常小，行李需要放在床板下，淋浴房就在床边，这样就真的是过于狭小了。房间内没有无线网络也是不便利的。
