The actual room for the triple was not at the address listed because they had problems trying to change it or something, but it wasn't too big a deal. The guy at the front desk walked us over. The location was still convenient although a bit farther from the metro station. It was at Via Cavour 150, which is a big street. The room was nice and quiet […] though. There was a kitchen for us to use, well stocked. They don't provide breakfast but they left us a snack and they had toast with jam in the kitchen, as well as fresh oranges and a presser. The third bed was upstairs and my head just touched the ceiling (I'm 5'4"), but I still felt very comfortable. It may be a problem for some people though. Overall the place was spacious enough and it had a very homey feeling. It was also extremely clean! I would definitely choose this place again if I come back to Rome. Great deal! "Budget hotel in great location"
This is definitely a budget hotel - you get what you pay for. We stayed here for four nights in a basic double bedroom. The location is about a 6/7 minute walk to the colosseum and probably about 15ish to the other major attractions in rome. FYI it's kind of hard to find - if you're coming from the main train station go to the via couvor metro stop […] and go to the main entrance of the metro stop and the entrance to the hotel is off to the right hand side. Aside from the amazing location of this place, everything else is bare basics. The room is kind of small, the bed was okay, not the best of all the places we stayed in Italy. The bathroom is small but manageable. I found the shower stall to be a bit cramped (I'm 5'1 100 lb). The water pressure is okay but we didn't get hot water that well. Luckily we went in spring time so it was manageable with luke warm shower water. Our shower stall flooded into the bathroom if we took showers longer than like 6/7 minutes - but this only happened of we showered in the morning and it was fine if we showered at night. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. The staff was helpful when we had issues during our stay. Our toilet stopped flushing one night, they fixed it in the morning. Another time the lights in the room stopped working and we used the hotel phone to call a staff member. We waited in the common kitchen for about an hour for someone to come and fix it. They gave us two bottles of wine to make up for it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good room in a great location."
This room was really a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette. The location is fantastic! You can walk to the colosseum and the ancient city of Rome as well as the subway. The breakfast was fair; a croissant and coffee. The staff was friendly. After check in it was a five minute walk to another building to get to the apartment and it was not […] ready even though we were almost an hour late arriving. The air conditioning is extremely poor even by European standards. There was a leak in the pipes beneath the elevated shower and water ran all over the floor no matter what you tried when you took a shower. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel to stay in at a good price"
When I was first looking for the hotel, I had a hard time finding it, but once I did I was pleased with everything about it. The person at the desk that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. He gave my a tour of the hotel, showed me my room, and answered all the questions I had for him. My room was a nice, single room. It was clean, the room […] seemed well updated and had all the essentials in it. I was very satisfied with my stay there. It's close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum which was also nice, and the price was great and very affordable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice apartment close to Coliseum, metro and train"
Great place, very calm (as the appartment is facing an atrium court - not the street), beds were firm, kitchen equipped (one can find that they need more, but we find it was OK for vacations stays, we were not planning in cooking 3-star meals)Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Place; slightly uncomfortable beds."
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was very close to the Colosseum and from there, it was easy to catch a tour bus, taxi, or whatever you wanted. It was also easy to walk to anywhere really. The wifi worked very well, I was able to Skype with family back home. The bathroom and room were very nice. The only negative thing I have to say is that the bed […] was a little hard for my taste, I like a soft mattress. It was still pretty comfortable though. I would stay here again without a second thought. Thanks for the great stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to Colosseum and Train Station"
We needed a place to sleep for our 24 hour stop in Rome between getting into the train station and leaving for the airport. We had already been to Rome earlier in our trip so used this time to see the Colosseum since we needed to stay near the train station. The location was perfect for our needs, and surprisingly was in a cute little neighborhood full […] of restaurants and bars that came alive at night. The room itself wasn't bad, but there was almost zero hot water and our windows looked out onto the metro station stairs that were always full of people, so we had to keep those shut and curtained at all times. "Spacious room in a great location!"
Nerva Accomodation is in a wonderful location with quick access to major tourist sights and the metro. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk though we had given them a heads up on the time we would arrive. However, a quick call fixed that. We were slightly surprised to stay […] a block away, but found it to not be a problem. Overall, a great place to stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice budget accomodation"
Excellent location, very clean, not exactly a hotel, more like a bed and breakfast accommodation. Good value for price, considering location and comfort. Late check in will set you back 18 euros, that's because they don't have a 24 hrs front desk like a regular hotel. Overall, good value for money. "Value and Good Location"
This is a little hidden gem, conveniently located to major sites and next to the Cavour Metro stop. My room was modern and clean. The only problem I saw was too many steps to climb with luggage and directions to find the hotel were not clear enough. I was told that the small signage for the hotel was not able to be made larger. The breakfast was a croissant […] and coffee at the Cafeteria across the road. A kitchen is provided with automatic coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave etc for hotel guests. The day time female manager was a very caring, pleasant person who did her utmost to assist me and I appreciated this effort. Overall it was good value and I would stay there again. "Nice Hotel Small Room"
Only stayed for a few hours due to late arrival and early check out. Not bad. They contacted me via email to verify that we would be coming and waited after 9 pm. Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast was very poor and provided by somebody else other than the staff. Overall OK.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable stay in the heart of Rome"
The selling point of this bnb is the location. You're smack in the center of Rome, walking distance to all sights and steps (literally 10m) to the subway station entrance. I was in Rome for business but wanted to take in a few sights while I was there. Since the subway was so close, I was able to just rent a car for the days I needed to. I walked to […] all the major sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful and made my stay very comfortable. For the quality of the room and the price, I would definitely recommend again. "Nice stay, good sized room near Metro in Roma"
I liked our room, we stayed on Via Cavour in a very nice, high-ceiling room. Very close walk to the Cavour metro stop. Overall, it was a little bit complicated since our room was not at the location of the service desk. But it was hardly much of a hassle. The desk people were very nice and friendly. A good sized room, in what I feel is a good location […] in Rome. You're not right on top of the main tourist sites but not all that far. I think that's actually a plus. On the Via Cavour block there are restaurants, shops, etc. It was a lively area at night but we got a good sleep. The only issue I had was with the breakfast. We went to a separate restaurant and the portions were meager, at best. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The apartment we got was nicely furnished and is very spacious. The apartment staff was also very friendly and helpful. We had access to a couple of bicycles which made our commute in Rome very convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff was very helpful. The quality was good for a 2-3 star rating. Considering the price it was a great value. Then shower was wonderful. With only One housekeeper, she could not keep up with the demand. the entrance of the hotel could use some upkeep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So good, we are going back in a week or so...."
We think is just what we needed to explore Rome, the metro station is literally just a few steps from your room. Rooms are nicely done out of an old refurbished building with the Roman charm. You won't go wrong coming here. We were so pleased we are coming back on our journey back home.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Two sides of Nerva"
I had the unique experience of being put up in 2 different rooms during my 4 days stay. This was because I needed to arrive a day earlier than expected and Nerva was very accommodating. However, there was a stark difference between the room I stayed on night 1 and where I was the rest of my stay. On night 1, I was in a single room on the 2nd floor -- […] the shower was broken, there was no wifi, no telephone in the common room and no way to get a hold of the staff to ask about how safe I was from the screaming homeless man below my window. I was traveling alone for the first time and so very uncomfortable. The next night I was moved to the 3rd floor into a double room with consistent wifi access, a telephone in the communal room, a functional kitchen, and I felt completely safe. The snacks provided in the common room were better than the food you can get from the cafe across the street for which Nerva gives you a free breakfast ticket. After I was switched to the 3rd floor room, I enjoyed my stay tremendously!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Easy Access to Sites-Metro"
Convenient metro stop. The hotel is right next to the metro stop at Cavour. Walk up the steps to Cavour, where you will find restaurants and shops. The streets surrounding the hotel had interesting, less "tourist" type restaurants. The front desk was wonderful in securing us a car to the airport. The driver was 5 minutes ahead of schedule and helpful […] with 3 large bags. Cost was reasonable and much easier than taking the metro and a train to the airport. This hotel is in the perfect location for seeing the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and close to the Metro. The staff was excellent and helpful in every way. Even though the building is extremely old, everything has been undated. It even had a kitchen and air conditioning! The only suggestion we have is to replace the sheets. "The PERFECT Place to stay in Rome!"
I was VERY satisfied with this hotel. It was clean, and the customer service was awesome...and the fact that there was FREE breakfast at the little restaurant across from the hotel was great! They do turn off the free wi-fi at about midnight, and then turned it on again at about 8 am....it really wasn't a problem...the fact that they offered free wi-fi […] was definitely a plus. "Great value, great location!"
Nerva Accomodations is somewhat difficult to find, but once you've found it, you're in the perfect location for a great value. The rooms are a bit small, but they have all the necessities and the added benefit of a shared kitchen area with a washer if you ask for it. The bathroom is nicely set up, though the shower could use an additional curtain to […] keep the water from spilling on the floor. The staff is lovely but are not on location 24 hours a day. The location, as I mentioned before, is great. It's a five minute walk to the Colosseum and is conveniently located right next to the Cavour metro. Beyond that, the immediate surrounding neighborhood feels far removed from the touristy areas right beyond. There are a lot of really nice local restaurants and the coffee shop across the street where you get your breakfast is a great place for people watching. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Will Be Returning."
This hotel was listed in Rick Steve's Italy book. It is owned and operated by a family and you certainly get the feel of this. With the exception of the grumpy grandpa who worked the desk in the morning, the rest of the staff (family) was excellent. The room was small, but we expected this to be the case with a European hotel. The room was very clean. […] The hotel still has its old feel which adds to its charm. The hotel is perfectly located with an absolutely gorgeous view. St. Francis Cathedral is a 10 minute walk away. The walk itself is almost as beautiful as the cathedral. would stay again. It's one metro stop from Termini station, get off at Cavour, Go upstairs cross the street westbound toward the opposite metro sign, go down the stairs to the right, at the bottom of the stairs turn 120 degrees, there is a large dark door, Nerva Accomodation only has a push button the the residents call button board. It is not manned […] 24 hours, make sure they know when your coming. Monica is the manager, she will bend over backwards to help you. Our apt was on Calle Cavour. We had to walk 5 minutes to get to it. It was inconvient at 1st but once we were settled in, it was a conveniert location. We actually would just walk to termini station. It was just as easy to do that than take the metro. The Colisium is 10 minutes away, The apt was clean, nothing special but had a fridge and microwave and sink. Plenty of resturants around. We were suppose to get breakfast but never did, not a big deal because we were normally out the door sightseeing. Monica was terrific, great apt manager. With the metro so close going to all the sights was easy. We would stay there again. It's not the Hilton but it's a typical apt and it had plenty of room, lots of hot water and it was clean. The donor kababs are better near Termini rather than around the hotel. Plenty of places to get beverages and snacks. There is a self serve laundy 1 minute away on Cavour. "My Favorite Part of Rome!"
Apartment style living in a great location! There are several rooms, all clean and simple, with the small lobby area and shared kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and washing machine. There is also a separate apartment next door for bigger groups or those who want more privacy. It's pretty rad. They have bikes you can use on the back patio, all the […] espresso you could possibly want in the kitchen, and a location that can't be beat. You get free breakfast from nearby cafes, and some of the best recommendations for food. The staff is super awesome, but they don't hang out all day, so you're left to your own devices a lot of the time. Your room is cleaned every other day. Kick open the windows and take in the sounds and smells of the city. There is a metro stop right outside the door, perfect for getting around if necessary, but we didn't use it. It's completely walkable to most of the touristy parts of the city--Coliseum, Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps, even the Vatican. While I have zero desire to go back to Rome, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It was such a great experience. I wish more places were like this. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Old building but very near Metro"
The pros are: 1. There is a room for guests to have complimentary tea and coffee. Also biscuits and jam and you can microwave your own food and save money from eating in a restaurant. 2. In the city close to Termini station, about 15 minutes walk (1 km). I walked back from Termini station easily (when the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stopped operating after 7pm). 3. […] Near Hop-On Hop-Off bus-stop (10 minutes walk) and you can buy leather handbags at SABA (148 Via Cavour), plus restaurants close by for a meal or take-away a big pizza (cost 6 to 10 Euros). 4. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff. 5. Room is clean and adequate for basic comfort with good air-conditioning for the hot Roman temperature. Cons: 1. Building is old and you have to ring a bell to get inside the building on your first arrival (Note that this is a B&B and not a hotel). 2. Building might be hard to locate for some travellers but my shuttle van driver had no problem getting me to this B&B from the Civitavecchia cruise-port and also from this B&B to the Fiumicino airport. Getting to this B&B by shuttle van is easy and cost me $20 USD or 15 Euros from the airport, and $45 USD or 30 Euros from Civitavecchia cruise-port. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good location, if you can find it...."
It took us some time to find the hotel because the signage was not adequate - as it was within what looked like a block of residential apartments. I enjoyed a large, modern room only 10 minute walk from the Coloseum and Roman Forum. Air conditioning was great. "Fantastic location, great facilities..."
I stayed here for 4 nights in April, 2014. The hotel is in a great location if you are after easy access to everything Rome has to offer. The staff were lovely and the kitchen area with tea/coffee facilities was brilliant. You could have breakfast across the street at a cafe (they give you tokens) I'm sure it was lovely but I didn't get a chance! My […] only complaint would be the level of noise below my room, my room was located right above the metro entrance, this was handy, but very, very noisy, even with the windows closed there was no way to escape the loud voices and metro announcements. This can't be helped by the hotel but I would advise to ask for a room facing away from the metro entrance! Over all I had a great stay at Nerva! Thanks! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Very close to Cavour subway station, albeit difficult to spot. Despite this, excellent location, walking distance to most places. Room was exceptionally clean, comfortable bed.
