It's just a stones throw away from BTS train station(Chong Nonsi) which will literally take you to anywhere you would like to go to in Bangkok without spending too much and minus the traffic.

It was an exceptional experience with Novotel Platinum overall. The only problem was with the transfer from the airport to the hotel. The taxi took us the wrong Novotel. You have to tell the Taximan Novotel "pat-ti-nam". It is very close to great shopping and tasty street food. The foods are safe even though they don't seem sanitary. Very disappointed in this new Novotel and would not return again. I was on the 11th floor and you can hear the street noise very loudly. I would have thought that the windows would be sound proofed as in every other hotel I have stayed in in Bangkok that is the case.Breakfast was mediocre if you do not eat Asian food or hot eggs etc. very limited choices […] of quality breads, croissants were of a very poor quality. The pool area was nice, but again 12 day beds for a 284 room hotel. You had to be there early to get one. Worst was not cancelling the authorisation on the credit card before I left and having to contact them from home. Oh and I forgot the door men not being able to get me metre taxis and having to go out to the road and find one myself. Luckily I am used to dealing with Bangkok taxi drivers and I never had any trouble finding one myself.definitely will not return as there are much better hotels in Bangkok for the same price. Exceptional service.Receptionist was very helpful when checking in on our arrival. We found the room very clean and tidy every day during our stay. Hotel has a good location, very close to many shopping centres. Amenities are clean and comfortable, except that we needed to do a transit with the lifts to reach our room floor.

Nice hotel beside platinum mall... convenient location ... the only not so good thing is the bathroom. After shower the floor will be very wet maybe because of the design of the shower shield is not effective in shielding water ...

It was a fantastic oasis in the middle of buzzing, hot and crowde Pratunam. We always looked forward to getting back to the hotel, it was cool and quiet and very comfortable. I can't think of any better place to stay on our next trip to Bangkok.

But could have stayed in cheaper hotel around this area for a much cheaper price because we were hardly in the hotel - only there to sleep fr 12 midnight to 9am. Have a nice stay in Novotel platinum bangkok. Just beside platinum mall which we spent almost everyday there for shopping. So is easy for us to put back all our shopping bags before proceed to somewhere else. Walking distance to Central world shopping centre. Hotel room is very comfortable and clean. This is my favourite hotel in Bangkok. I would always stay there everytime i go Bangkok. However, i was disappointed twice during 2 of my stays there. The first incident was when we were trapped in the lift but were given a free dinner, which wasnt too bad. The 2nd incident was worse, we had no water to shower or brush our teeth for a night ( the whole […] hotel had only extremely hot water left). Though we were given a letter of apology and compensated with fruit plate, a few cookies and a birthday cake for my bf, we felt that the compensaton was not sufficient at all considering the price of the room, the reputation of the hotel, and that we have stayed in this hotel for at least 3 times this year. In addition, when we asked for free late checkout, we were given only till 1pm... That said, the hotel location is good and the staff are polite. I really enjoy my stay in novotel platinum hotel, especially the bed, its really heaven, the linen, the pillow its perfect, however i just a bit surprise with one concierge at the ground floor when we checked out early morning at around 645am, i gave already a tip to the one who brought my luggages but the other concierge who assisted really ask for […] an additional tip, he said what about me, and he insist and asked for a tip, anyway i gave him a tip, but my point here is that i think giving a tip is more on voluntary from the guest its not a mandatory, but everything is fine.. If you want a good medium-luxury hotel in downtown Bangkok, this place will do. It's close to a lot of things (shopping, food) that you can walk to or take the BTS to get to. Only downside is, traffic in Bangkok is horrible and it was hard at times to get a cab. The hotel staff just told us it was "no use" trying to even get one at X time of day. Hotel is new, buffet breakfast spread is very good. Coffee and Tea taste really bad though. The rooms are relatively big and comfortable, very satisfactory, bathroom and toilet are very clean with fresh clean towels daily. My room overlooks the Paragon siam. Hotel lobby is on the 6th floor. There's an escalator from 5th floor of Platinum mall that joins […] to the hotel. Hotel serves very good Thai food although it is expensive for local standards but comparable to Singapore normal Thai food prices. Paid about SGD 30 for 3-4 dishes. . Had a wonderful dinner at their restaurant with an excellent night view of the city, and the restaurant is pretty empty, which makes it a good spot for a quiet and delicious dinner. Location is very far from nearest BTS, a good long walk in the dusty and noisy roads towards the nearest BTS which was a big negative point. Rather take the taxi which is cheap and avoid the atrocious roads and jaywalking. Platinum mall is beside which is the best part of the hotel location. Within walking distance to Siam paragon. REmember to ask hotel conceirge to flag taxis that go by meter. On return journey to the BKK airport, the taxi driver refused to go by Meter and charge us THB 400 ! Read more

The location is one of the best in Bangkok. breakfast is good. bed is comfortable and clean. Overall cleanliness is good. But one thing about the room is that some how the speaker of the TV is attach in the bathroom. Kind of noisy and I cant switch it off at all. The finishing of the toilet need some improvement.
