I was in Edinburgh for a wedding, arrived sat morning wanted to check in and get ready but check-in did not open until 3 (wedding started at 2) this was my own fault for not reading the condition's but still very frustrating. After the wedding reception i went to the hotel to check in again and they told me that they where overbooked and had no room. […] There was a marathon in the city and after calling around a few places i discovered there was no rooms left in the city for under £500. I ended up finding a hotel about 15 miles out of the city. This is not a 3 star accomodation. I stayed in a 3 star hotel in Leeds, over UK and Ireland and this accomodation was no way any where near the standard of others throughout Great Britain.

We took the king-size en-suite room. It is true in the reviews that the bathroom was not attached to our room but it did have a private sign on it and we were not that fussed that others could use it as we were only staying the one night. It was clean and tidy. The room was clean and tidy, we had the back room so it was pleasant. The staff were friendly, […] and even though we had to clarify we ordered breakfast as well, we did get a nice veggie breakfast in the morning. The only slight problem was the lock for our room we discovered didn't lock and so I wouldn't advise bringing anything valuable. I was expecting to stay in a hostel so did not bring anything I was worried about but if you do stay here it will be worthwhile checking you can lock your door properly as i'm sure the other rooms may not have had this problem. Good location handy for city centre,clean tidy, service terrible. stayed with wife, booked bed and breakfast but told that breakfast wasnt included and would be an additonal £20 for us both, per day. Ripoff and they wouldnt even listen to us. Dont use it not worth the hassle.

Udemærket guest house, venlig receptionist.. Værelset var en smule beskidt, og 'rodet' med mange forskellige møbler uden egentlig funktion. Fint hvis du ønsker noget billigt, og forholdvis tæt på centrum. Det tager max 30min. at gå ind til city, men der går også mange busser lige ude foran.

Fikk mye for pengene! Kjempe bra service som hjalp oss med taxi til flyplass og frokost mitt på natten. Helt ok rom, med bad. Ligger i en stor gate, dermed går det busser hele tiden inn til sentrum. Avstand til byen er på ca. 3 km og er en veldig fin tur å gå med butikker langs hele veien. Ettersom det er litt avstand til sentrum så er det veldig stille […] og rolig på kvelden. Read more
