Great stay outside of Edinburgh! The staff was extreamly friendly and ready to assist with anything you might need. Welcomed pets with open arms. Easy 3 minute drive to the train station to get into Edinbugh and lovely views and gardens. Great value for cost. Thanks for a wonderful New Year!

Delightful 1890s Victorian Hotel on a street parallel to Perth Rd, looking down on Pitlochry. Excellent dinner and breakfast in hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. The owner's suggestion to visit the dam and fish ladder was excellent. The one negative is that our visit was in November and the old windows in the room allowed a cold draft. Highly recommend and would return if in the area.

The parking is off the main road. I was tired and missed the sign telling me this. It was great being able to go straight into the bar and have a meal.... Room was very comfortable and quiet even though the inn is beside a main road. As I wanted an early start breakfast was left in my room my only problem was what to do with the key when I left. When booked it included full breakfast, however; we were offered continental breakfast only on the first day and when requesting full breakfast we were told we couldnt have it before 11.00am. Room was clean, but the traffic noise was dreadful and unable to sleep. Also Breakfast was included in the price and this was a joke. It was put in my room the night before and consited of a croissant in a plastic bag and a bowl with a box of cereal. Premier Inn do a very good breakfast!!

Lumpy bed. Breakfast was a tray of cold stuff left in the room the night before. No table. No chair. MAD! Road noise was offensive. Not worth the money. Expedia should consider removing this dump from their website.

My room was so close to the Glasgow Road I could tell when it was raining by the different noise made by car and lorry tyres. The only window in the stuffy room was right by the road. The room was clean and the proprietor was friendly - that I will say in its favour. The beds were lumpy and incredibly uncomfortable. Breakfast was a tray of stale bread […] and packs of cereal left in your room the night before with a pot of milk in a fridge. No table or chair so had to try to eat it on the side of the bed! Cooked breakfast was extra and only available at 09.30. Definitely not worth the money and definitely not a good idea to stay there. Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in in my 60 years on the planet! Read more

Used hotel as stop-over from John O'Groats to Hull. Convenient location, easy to find, comfortable room, food in bar very good and continental breakfast in room made for easy start next day. Overall good value for money.

This is a family run hotel, very clean, good food at the bar. The staff and management are extremely welcoming and friendly. Large car park at the rear and within walking distance to station also good location for driving. Would certainly go back again.
