On the top of Langkawi , lots of monkeys outstanding view, not to many ppl at all. Takes about 30 minutes from the hotel but worth it, recommend for couples

The hotel location is a spectacular combination of lush rainforest and palm tree lined beachfront. The local monkeys added unique entertainment value on a daily basis. The bungalow style rooms are quaint, but a little outdated. The Seashell Beach Cafe was a highpoint with friendly staff, waterfront meals and live music. Overall, the Mutiara Burau Bay Beach Resort was an excellent value in a spectacular location. The location is close to the cable car, but not very close to shopping or restaurants.
Location.
Twin Peaks Island Resort is close to Night Market, Al-Hana Mosque, and CHOGM Park. Also nearby are Lagenda Park and Eagle Square.

"Ancient & rundown"

"good for a group"
It was ok value for the money, but maybe not the place for the older solo traveller. First impressions were poor, it looks really run down and is not near anything, just on the main road to Kuah and when I got into my room it stunk of smoke. However on further inspection it was clean and everything worked - air con, fridge, kettle, shower etc. After […] deciding to stay I spoke to the receptionist who put me in touch with a cheap car hire - 50 RM a day which meant I could explore the island at will with a good base (you can hire mbikes which are cheaper). The breakfast was ok, better during the week when its not so busy and they cook to order. Expect lots of cats around the place and take some defense against mosquitos at night. "Situated on the main road"

"如果不需要睡很早，是个不错的选择"
中间一个游泳池，很多小孩子会很早来很晚才离开，所以如果你不需要22点就睡觉，也不想7点就起床的话，这里估计不适合你。但是房屋的风格和内在我都蛮喜欢的，因为古色古香很有本地气息，而且房间内还有一个小冰箱，可以放置在附近超市购买的一些饮品等，离热闹的地方也都不算远，最近的地方开车5分钟左右就到了，地方不大。地点在路边，所以不算难找，而且有车位很方便。Genuine Hotels.com guest review
