The staff were fab - food was good and was value for money - quite a way out of Vilamoura though. Our room was a bit dated and need refreshing (ours was due to be done as we left i think). Bedroom was very cold - although to be fair we didn;t report this. Noise carries a lot in the hotel so beware if you are next to a hen or stag party. I cannot give the Four Seasons in Vilamoura and all the staff there high enough praise! This is an excellent hotel with great staff and a "home from home" feel that no matter where I have travelled in the world, I have never before experienced ANWHERE. I will without a shadow of a doubt be returning to this hotel.

This was our first visit to Vilamoura though we have been to the Algarve since 1998. We had a wonderful break at the Four Seasons. The staff in the restaurant were simply superb. Their attentiveness and work rate was first class. Nothing was too much trouble. The themed menu evenings in the restaurant were exceptional value for money and we had more […] than we could eat. Breakfasts were again fresh and generous. You could have all the bread, pastries fresh fruit, cereal you could eat followed by an English breakfast comprising whatever you wanted. We hired the spacious two bed apartment and it had all anyone could need. Three outdoor pools and an indoor spa/pool. We were blessed with the weather 24 deg C most days, solid blue sky and no wind. The hotel is actually time share apartments therefore it wasn't cleaned daily, the flat was basic and perhaps more of the standard you would expect for a group of children on a school trip. The bed was small and uncomfortable with no bedside lights. The sofa and other fittings were well worn and needed updating. The bathroom was clean but was also dated. There […] is no way this place can be described as a 4 star hotel given that the room is a serviced apartment. I have stayed in better hotels with fewer stars for a fraction of the price of this one. The facilities looked OK however we didn't really use these so can't comment. Breakfast was poor and whether you were offered hot food seemed to be dependent on who was serving that particular day. It also started late in the morning so was unavailable on our last day when we had to leave for the airport (at 8:15 am) - surprising that Expedia sold us something we could not have! Read more

Just back from a 4 day trip at the four seasons. The price was very good but the hotel and resort were naturally quiet at this time of year. This suited us down the ground as it made for a very cheap option of playing golf in a great climate. 4 days of sun and warm weather really was a treat. The hotel offered great subsidised rates to the on site Pinhal […] course, all pre booked via email with the resident PGA pro who was on site to welcome us at the hotel and arrange club hire. It really felt like VIP treatment. 2 rounds of golf and club hire for 2 days totalled 90 euro. Given the standard of the course and the clubs this is a decent price. Though 30 euro to rent a buggy is steep. We sayed in an appartment but had full use of the hotel facilities, so jacuzzi and sauna after golf at no extra expense. This is a fantastic place to stay. The grounds and rooms are immaculate and very well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. My two children loved the pools and spent the vast majority of every day in them. The indoor pool was great for when the sun got a little hot in the middle if the day. Vi var der ude for sæsonen, hotellet var halvtomt, og børneområdet havde ingen personale, så det var en (lille) skuffelse. Personalet var venlige og imødekommende, og værelset var velholdt og blev gjort rent hver dag, selv opvasken blev taget for os. Jeg havde et problem med at naboens aircondition larmede om natten, men mine kone og søn sov fint.

Dejligt hotel og område, især for golfere.Vær opmærksom på at det er et sted der primært besøges af englændere - Heraf britisk mad, børn osv.!Poolområdet er meget fint og der er en fin legeplads bag hotellet. Du skal have en bil for at bo der og forvent dig ikke for meget af byen Vilamoura. Wir (Familie mit Baby) hatten ein Appartment mit 2 Schalfzimmer gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden - Komfort, Sauberkeit und Ausstattung waren sehr gut. Ein Babybett wurde uns für einen geringen Aufpreis zur Verfügung gestellt. Sehr praktisch war, dass man ganztägig bis 22 Uhr abends im Restaurant Essen zum Mitnehmen (Take away service) bestellen konnte […] - das Essen war hervorragend - auf Nachfrage wurde auch frischer Fisch angeboten.Einziger Mängel - die Zimmer waren sehr kalt in den ersten beiden Tagen (Reisezeit Februar)- anscheinend wurden sie vorher nicht beheizt - die Heizung läuft über die Klimaanlage und war sehr laut. Mycket bra hotell med bra service. Fin inomhuspool och fint område utanför med lekplatser i området. Utomhuspoolerna såg också inbjudande ut men var kalla. (vi var i februari). Det var fina omgivningar men en bit in till centrum.
