Our room was nicely decorated; the bath/vanity area was private, on the other side of a wall in the room. Microwave,fridge,coffee maker (good coffee with complete setup). A great lower cost choice. Newly remodeled, with flat screen TV, very comfortable bed, very clean. It was too cool to use the pool but it looked fine, heated to 80 degrees. Breakfast was nothing fancy--bagels (choice of several kinds), fruit, cereal, packaged sweet rolls, Sunny D OJ, coffee--but it was all we needed. I'd stay there again.

A good and conveniet place to stay, two buts: first Aircon is very noisy, second breakfast is not worth the name. Depending on the price you may look for another place if you are keen on a large breakfast buffet.

Stay away from room 47, the handicapped room, unless I suppose you have a handicap. From the previous reviews I think we expected more in terms of "newly remodeled". Yes the carpet was new and the room had been painted but upon entering you were hit with a musty smell (I guess we got used to it after a while). The furnishings looked like they could […] have been original equipment save the new flat screen tv. The bathroom was clean but not in the best condition. The shower in particular had a cheap handheld head in a adjustable holder, except you couldn't adjust it (the height). It wouldn't stay in a higher position, would fall to the bottom each time. There was a separate holder at the top but was too high for my family to adjust the spray. The beds were pretty hard so if you don't like a firm mattress you won't be comfortable. There was a small fridge and microwave along with a hairdryer but no iron or board. The staff was friendly enough but we interacted very little. I can say the pool was clean and nice and we enjoyed using it. I suppose if you are looking for an economy stay and don't need or want too much, this motel may work for you. It's unlikely that we will give it another go. Read more

No closet for clothes, great bed and pillows, had to ask for towels, TV remote, only one coffee pack, didn't replace for us after 1st night without asking?? Very basic, motel 6 probably considering cost, close to some things, far from others unless you drive everywhere.

I can not say enough nice things about the Cascade Lodge Motel. The first consideration I look for is cleanliness. The second is value. Cascade Lodge has both. Their parking lot is very large and you do not have the feeling of being cramped into one small area. In other words, plenty of grassy space to roam. I was disappointed there was no jetted tub in the bathroom (it said there were jetted tubs in some rooms in the ad). There were no towel racks, and it would have been nice to have a small table under the bathroom window to put things on as all there was was the back of the toilet. Overall, I liked this motel. Wifi had strong signal. Didn't care for the breakfast. Only room for 2 to eat. We checked in late and the owner had to walk us over to our room. Clean and had a microwave and fridge and nice sized counter top around sink in the bathroom area. There is also a pool. I found the air conditioner should have been in the bedroom area and could have been alot quieter. Fro the price, can't complain, BUT... Supposidly the facility was upgraded and said to be in prime condition. Carpets were new, beds and linins werer new or at l;east in excellent condition. Based on the reviews I read, I expected this to be a much more pleasant property. The room was small and clean, barely adequate. The bed was comfortable. The lighting was very dark-- hard to to read except directly underneath the beside lamp. There was no channel guide for the TV. I never did locate an ice machine. Before I arrived, I called to explain […] I'd be arriving late and asked if there were a place I could bathe and groom my dog. I was assured there was and it would be ok. When I got there, there was nothing on the property. They were referring to some remote facility I never did find (and wasn't open at 11:00 at night anyway). I had to show my dog the next day unbathed and ungroomed-- very disappointing. There were no irons in the room, only a "half-size" tabletop ironing board. I went to the office to ask for an iron and was pressed to give out my room number in front of a man who was obviously drunk and had been bothering me for several minutes before the clerk came out to help. We found a used condom under the bed while looking for our dog's ball and a call girl knocked on our hotel door at 3 am. Bathroom had no screen on window and front door not easy to open. the room next door was heard by us all night long until they finally went to sleep at 4 am. Very affordable hotel located in close proximity to all Bend might have to offer. Room was very clean and recently remodeled. Bed was slightly uncomfortable for my girlfriend and I. Very friendly staff. Owner/manger went so far as to find me some ibuprofen for my wicked bad hangover, which I was very appreciative of. We stayed at this hotel last Fall and were very pleased with our room and the hotel staff. This stay, however, we were put in a very small room, surrounded by SMOKE, no place to park our vehicle. We reserved a room for 4 adults, but there were only 3 hangars, 3 towels, no room to walk past one another on the way to the tiny bathroom, etc. The key we […] were given did NOT operate the door locks. When we approached the manager, he was very short-tempered with us and showed how he could unlock the door by an enormous amount of jiggling and wiggling the key and door knob. We could not make this work for us despite his "advice" about how to use the key. He did not listen to my concerns about the SMOKE -- other guests smoking directly outside our room in the very crowded corner where we were located. I did not understand this complete change in experience from last September, but apparently different rooms offer different conditions/layouts/amenities. We will NOT return to this hotel. Read more

The Cascade Motel is conveniently located in downtown Bend. We arrived during a snowstorm, and I suppose the change in weather might have caught the management by surprise, but we were disappointed to find the reservations were initially a problem, the room was cold as a tomb and the heater was very noisy.

Reeked of cigarette smoke. Early January and the heater had to be set manually on or off, up every fourty five minutes all night adjusting temp. If you need a place to crash and care about the rest it will be fine for you, thats what we needed and it served its purpose well.
