Hotel Alegria - Bruges

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for. We were in Bruges for one night only so did not need a lounge area or an hotel bar or restaurant . We wanted a comfortable room where we could sit and recuperate after trekking around to see the sights before heading out again for food. I stayed in this charming hotel with 2 friends while visiting Bruges for a weekend. The rooms were excellent, very spacious and tastefully decorated with a very good en-suite bathroom. The owner has lived in Bruges all her life and was very helpful with advice on places to see and eat in in the city. The hotel itself is in an old house on a beautiful, quiet street just near the market square. We both enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alegria for a birthday weekend. It was our first time to Brugge and the mother of the B&B was warm and very helpful in pointing us toward local attractions when we arrived. The daughter was lovely and nice and made us feel at home. We took up the inclusive breakfast on our final morning, which had a nice selection, […] top-quality and delicious food. The room was beautifully finished and felt big enough for the both of us, with plenty of storage space, safe, tea/coffee-making, comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. There were two English-speaking channels on the tv so I missed out on watching the news before heading out each day. The free Wi-fi was a perk, although it did drop in and out quite a bit. Overall it was a lovely place to stay and lived up to what we expected in Brugge. I think we would definitely consider Hotel Alegria if/when we go back to Brugge. Read more

Номера просторные, уютно обставлены, есть чайные принадлежности с чаем и кофе и даже с мармеладом))), очень приятно! все бесплатно. Обязательно берите завтрак, он приготовлен как для себя, все свежее, фрукты, несколько видов сыров, свежевыжатый сок, сладости, если нужно […] хозяйка специально для вас, бесплатно, приготовит яичницу. очень удобное расположение, в 2 минутах ходьбы от главной площади, а вообще в Брюгге все в пешей доступности. в следующий раз обязательно остановимся еще раз. From the train station you can easily catch a bus till the main square and from there is really just 5 min walk till the hotel! Perfect location. The breakfast is fresh and very good.
