I was a little dissapointed in the location of this hotel, I wish I would have been told that it is out of the city. If I would have know this I definetly wouldn't have picked it. Not knowing a new city that you are travelling to makes it really difficult in finding a street let alone a hotel you have never been too. I would suggest that they have directions […] emailed to people when the confirmation is send to them for the booking of their hotel, showing an exact map on how to get there. I was so tired and frustrated when I finally got to my destination. But I do have to hand it to the hotel staff for helping me get to the hotel by instructing me by phone. Read more

The rooms all have been updated with a new addition In which all is new. The room was clean with lots of room And the bed was very vomfortable. Over all we have no Complaints. Compliment breakfast was as good as any - Variety of Creal , bread and beverage. Thumbs up to this place.

This is the second year we have stayed at this hotel for our anniversary. The guys there are friendly, helpful and definitely make sure you enjoy the stay. One of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed at. We plan on coming back next year.

Google has the hotel placed in downtown Moose Jaw, which it is NOT (its on the TC highway east of town!). The hotel has tried to correct this thru Google, but G apparently doesnt care.

Very noisy hotel. Awful shower with the water going to very hot all of a sudden. No breakfast to be found in the morning.

This hotel was clean, reasonable mattress; and the location was very good! It is right on the number 1 highway at Moose Jaw. There was a continental breakfast included, which was so-so. The privacy lock on the door was broken, and the tv had only 1 channel. (Sports) Still and all, a decent place to stay for one night.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Just outside of town. Very quiet area. No extras like a pool, restaurant, entertainment etc. but everything is a short drive away. If you want a good room for a decent price this is the place. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

As good as motels get. Cleaner than clean, new comfortable beds (and I'm picky) and a decent breakfast. Can't ask for more than that in a motel. Will be our go to transcanada stop. The rooms are quite small but they are very comfortable with nice new TVs and the price was great.

We had a great time there... But noticed on the map... It was in the wrong area. Map said it was downtown while it is really on the east side of Moose Jaw off of Highway 1. I would advise you get the map fixed ASAP!!

There was no desk to work on, but worse, the manager in the morning would not even discuss it. He said he was busy. I will not stay there on my return trip. It is a very isolated hotel with only a service station restuarant nearby.

Thriftlodge was a nice place to stay as I make my way to Lake Louise, Alberta. I have a new job there and for me driving across Canada was the only thing I wanted to do. The hotel was easy to find being right off the Trans Canada Highway. There was nothing else really there except an out of business gas station. This allowed for an extremely quiet and […] relaxing place. I have stayed in 4 hotels on the trip and Thriftlodge in Moose Jaw was by far the best. The city of Moose Jaw was a great place to spend a night. It was completely vacant of people by 11:00pm and the only place to get food at that hour was McDonald's. I come from Smithville a town bordering Hamilton, Ontario and restaurants there are open much later. So there is quite a difference between the two cities in that respect. I finished my stay in Moose Jaw by going for a walk at Kiwanis River Park and Lions River Park both very nice places to go and relax. Read more

I was very impressed with the cleanliness of this motel. The rooms were superb, the bathroom impeccable. The only issue I have is the continental breakfast was a little lacking in variety- but it definitely filled the void.

Simple motel, located just east out of town off the highway. The room I got had a sitting area seperated from the where the bed was, and a kitchenette. Very affordable for all of the ammenities. Continental breakfast was pretty plain, worker provided more than enough conversation for the guests having their breakfast.

This place was perfect for what we needed we just didn't know it was located off the highway which actually had we of not travelled through city it was just off the highway where we wanted to be as we didn't have any business in the city. The guy at the desk thinks google maps takes you to the stupid location it does because they have a mailbox at this […] address. They are trying to get google maps to correct it. I thought I was staying in a Thriftlodge by the Spa. Too my surprise I was by the highway, 6.5 Km from where I needed to be. A friend had to drive me back and forth to the convention that I was attending at the Mosaic Theatre. This was very inconvenient. I don't know what I would have done without my friend being kind enough to drive me.

I enjoyed the stay at the Thriftlodge, it was clean and comfortable. There are a couple of things I will mention and that is there could be more chairs in the room, also as mentioned in the confirmation notice that a iron and ironing board were supplied, only the ironing board was supplied no iron. I would recommend staying at the Thriftlodge.
