Hotel Golden Inca - Cusco

Can't speak enough about their customer service. Coca tea as soon as we arrived, bellman running out to the cab to get our bags and leave them in our room before we even checked in! The hotel knew exactly who we were and upgraded our room as well. Free breakfast in the morning really helps. Really warm shower and beautiful bed with cable tv. The only […] complaint we have is the radiator didn't get as hot as we like it (but we still were not cold). Only a short 10 min walk from main tourist part of town and less than half the price. The maids were on top of everything and very thorough (even returned expensive stuff we left in our room that morning after we checked out). Night shift guy chased our crappy delivery guy down the street to address our concerns about change and wouldn't let him leave until it was resolved. They gave us late check out when we asked, no problem. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and some speak beautiful English. I have stayed in 5 star resorts all over the world and have never experienced this level of customer service. They treat their guests like royalty. Read more

I stayed here for 1 night because of the price but frankly, for only $5 US more, I stayed in a place right off of Plaza de Armes. This hotel is super far from the main part of town and not worth the hassle of going back and forth. It's in a really remote part of town. The bedding was fine (goose down pillows and comforter though goose down also can […] mean feathers sticking out and stabbing you). The room had a small heater so they brought us a space heater. The bathroom was fine, but could use a freshening up. All in all, this hotel is just in a bad location (i.e., too far from the main part of town) and why waste your time, effort and cab headache getting to and from here when there are plenty of places for just a few bucks more right in the heart of Cusco? Great location, great place to stay, clean, very comfortable beds, wireless internet. Staff were extremely helpful with tour information and booking. They were also very nice and helpful when I got food poisoning- they sent a courier to get me gatorade and cipro! Would definitely stay here again if back in Cuzco.

The room was okay, but the bedding was clean, which is the most important. The staff at check-in were very sweet, but they were half an hour late with our wake-up call. When we finally received the call I asked what time it was and they lied saying it was when the original call should have been. I was excited to stay at this hotel as it had recieved good reviews previously. However, I am sad to say that the hotel description is very misleading. There was no free wifi and often when we would need to use the computer in the common area - a member of the staff would be sitting on the computer. We got off on the wrong foot to begin with - a member […] of staff said they would be at the airport when we arrived - no one turned up and although we had email confirmation advising us that they would meet us - the staff member who sent the email declined that this service was available. The building is unfinished and possibly unsound - room would move when trucks went by. Also, after a few days we struggled to open or close the door to our room as the door kept sticking/jamming. On two occasions there was no hot water and no apology or discount for this. The hotel is located directly opposite a truck depot and we found ourselves waking up throughout the night because of trucks coming in and out of the depot. Due to the location (10-15mins walk from the main town) we were told that it was unsafe to walk around at night and we realised this walking home one night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless it was a overnight stopover - even then i would recommend shopping around for a hotel or backpackers closer to the main plaza. Read more

El hotel tiene un muy buen servicio, las personas que lo atienden son muy amables y proporcionan toda la información necesaria. Además, el hotel tiene su propia agencia de turismo en donde se pueden encontrar los tours a buenos precios. Hotel custo/benefício muito bom. Eles enviam um taxi para pegar no aeroporto sem nenhum custo. Água quente, banheira, cama confortável e TV a cabo com 100 canais. O único problema é que não tem box e molha todo o banheiro durante o banho.

as pessoas bem gentils, quarto bem conservado e o que é muito importante é limpo e bem arrumado, as toalhas limpas e banheiro também. Tem aquecedores o que é importante nessa temperatura e quando voltamos das viagens quando chove tem como secar as roupas. Internet WiFi funciona.

Hotel recém inaugurado, com tudo muito novo e de bom gosto. O único ponto fraco é a localização. Fica há uns 15minutos caminhando da Plaza de Armas. Para mim isso não foi problema, fora isso, o hotel é ótimo.
