Fiesta Key RV Resort - Long Key

We loved this place. We were right in between everything. They had tons to do on the property and we didn't have any problems with our place. The a/c froze once but it was so beautiful outside we just let it thaw and we were back to cold a/c in no time. It was overall a wonderful experience and we plan to come back again real soon!!!

We arrived late, desperate to shower and relax... The bathroom was disgusting, in the room the air conditioner was full of dust and ready to fall apart. The beds were really cheap and I felt the springs in my back all night. needless to say I was awake the whole night. The shower? who ever they had do the plumbing when they "Renovated" the unit... reversed […] the hot and cold water so I had to get dressed and go to the office and waited for the repair guy to come and test it. He is the one who told me the reverse issue. Someone stole our chairs that were in front of our room the during the night, I guess to use at their unit so we had only a plastic table. The room sucked. but breakfast was good... The last time I stayed here I had brought my RV and was on a family vacation... this place is great for that. Read more

The motel was okay - the grounds were really nice. The so-called restaurant leaves little to be desired. Went in for dinner only to be told there was no menu as yet. No sour mix to make drinks so we had to drive 12 miles to the closest restaurant. The landscaping and fancy sign on the highway are deceiving. We were very disappointed with our 2 day stay. While the location was isolated and surrounded by water, we had a view of the RV park. The room itself was in poor condition - missing lightbulbs, a bed where it would have been as comfortable to sleep on the tile floor. We didn't have hand towels, […] water glasses of any sort, and the TV remote didn't work. When we asked for these to be addressed, the towels and glasses was grudgingly given. The remote wasn't fixed during our 2 day stay. RVers may have a better experience, but drive just a short way north and give your business to the mom and pop operations who care about their business. It was great. Pool right on site. Tiki Bar reasonable prices on Drinks & Food (hand made Burgers). Survived Hurricane Sandy here. Comfortable beds. Slept like a baby at night. Beautiful Sunsets. Nearby stores & Gas stations. Great off season Rates. Used to be a KOA Campground. Still has hook ups for Campers. Will visit here again.

The grounds were very nice, but the room looked like a frat boy party room. The description on the web said a coffee maker, fan, and alarm clock radio was to be in the room it wasn't. After talking to the front desk I was told they have another property up north that has those things they don't. I was surprised to see my first sea turtle while staying here! The one and ONLY disappointment was that the pictures make it look like the cabins are directly water side which is not true. I am staying again and bringing my friends and family! Thank you Fiesta Key Resort!

We arrived at the site, and it is a great location right in between Islamorada and Marathon. The first motel room we were sent to had holes in the walls, smelled disgusting and was not somewhere i would sleep. It was as clean as it could be expected, it wasn't that they didn't clean it, just old and very run down!!!. The very nice lady at the front […] desk (condition of the hotel is not her fault, she was very nice and helpful) offered us a different room, which was also old and slightly run down but definately not as bad as the first one. We ended up staying due to not wanting to try to find somewhere else at 5 in the afternoon. Also, the pool was very foggy, not dirty, but foggy, couldn't see my daughter when she went under the water at 4ft deep.......!!! The restaraunt was closed that night so I cannot comment on the condition or quality of that. Overall, great location but the motel rooms leave alot to be desired and it they fixed them up and did some updating to appliances and bathrooms i would definately stay there again, but not until then. The RV park/camp ground is beautiful. The cottage we stayed in was well furnished, had plenty of dishes, the same number of beds advertised. The sliding doors to the bathrooms were difficult to close. The campground got really busy on the weekend and the quiet time was not enforced well enough. I would love to go back, but I would not go on a holiday […] weekend again. We had a group on 9 people above age 5 and 1 baby and there was space for everyone to sleep. The resort location was beautiful. The resort at this time is being rebuilt by the new owner. The rooms we stayed in are being demolished soon and rebuilt. We were there for a wedding and basically slept there. So it suited are needs.

The rooms were generally clean and tidy. The quality of service was a bit to be desired as I had to sign a form verifing the number of towels in the room in case any of them went missing. When I arrived to hotel they told me I was not in the system. Probably it is the hotel why screwed it up. They where friendly and did their best to help. It is most like a 0-1 star hotel. Location was good - right on the ocean . they should use other detergents to clean the floor than pure clorox which smelled bad.

It wasn't a five-star hotel, but it didn't need to be. It was cozy and homey and everything a stay in the keys would need (no body really needs to iron... seriously, though, everyone runs around half naked wearing sandals. lol) I only was able to stay for one night but I would've stayed for more if I could :) overall good experience.

The RV portiion of the park looked fine. Flat and easy access. The newer motel units on the photo looked nice. Our unit, however, was much older and had rock hard beds with some neglected maintenance issues. Because I could not get the cleaning staff to get us clean towels half way through our week, I gave up and raided the wash room and got my own. […] It was nice having a kitchen to save dining costs though. There was a 2" hole at the bottom corner of the door, so any small animal could join us in the room. Wall was buckled and paint peeling where air conditioner had leaked. Springs in mattress poked you in the back all night. ONE BATH TOWEL. Only good thiong was the location and sunset. Room was relatively clean but the place needs work.

Big disappointment with the rooms at this RV resort to the extent that we cancelled our stay. RV campers MAY be pleased, but our room was damp and musty and from another era. The bathroom was tiny; the refrigerator was not working. The office staff was pleasant and helpful, but the idea of staying in this place was too much. The net pictures are of the cottages at 4 times the cost. Our motel room beds were coil springs which you could feel. The paint in the bathroom was peeling off the wall and mold on the ceiling. The caulking on the sink was half off. Wood rot on the front porch and patches of repairs not painted. The door has a deadbolt which was broken and the handle […] lock was loose. Hotels.com needs to show pics of the actual rooms which were like a motel 6, not the cottages they promote in the pics. Low quality bedding, el cheapo tv, but it was better than hauling camping gear and pitching tents, we just drove there, arrived and crashed. The park was quiet.
