"Not what the pictures show"
Room was nothing like the pictures or description lead me to believe. I booked a Superior Room which supposedly had a balcony. The room did not even have a WINDOW and was right on the main road! It was like staying in a cement block. The front desk claimed the walkway to get to the room was a "balcony". I demanded to get another room and come to find […] out NONE of the rooms have a balcony. I found another place "7 Stones" that was actually less expensive and MUCH, MUCH nicer. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A gorgeous and quiet resort just a quick walk to White Beach"
We stayed in the 7stones apartment and the people were exceptionally friendly to make our stay enjoyable. I would love to stay at this location again as we are living in Manila, we hope to return soon. During the day there was some construction noise due to maintenance staff refurbishing balconies. Our power went out for a while but the staff were very […] helpful and accomodating. The pool overlooks the windy kitesurfing beach of Bulabog. It's an easy walk to Da'Mall or a quick tricycle ride at night if you don't want to walk home. I would highly recommend staying here if you would like a nice quiet, luxurious hotel where you can find peace during the busy days in Boracay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Stay at your own risk (Room 102)"
We, a group of four have stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights to experience Bulabog Beach. Upon arrival we realized that as the apt is privately owned by Julia and Norman, though we can enjoy the same on site facilities but not the shuttle service provided by 7 Stones, which can save us the 10-15mins walk to D'mall. The stay started off promising, […] with welcome drinks being served while we waited for the housekeeper to arrive for our check in. At first glance the apt was lovely and true to the pictures, with a functional kitchen, spacious living room and a balcony with a nice view of the beach. That's where the nightmare began. Wanting to enjoy the view, we tried to open the door to the balcony. After a few attempts, the door was opened but we could not lock it. We called the housekeeper to take a look, and after her unsuccessful attempts, called for the maintenance. We came back at night, and the lock was still not fixed. It would have been compromising our safety, as the balcony door was unlocked with direct access to the living room. The next day, we came back while they were still in the midst of the daily house cleaning. We were told that the door was too roughly handled and the lock was broken, it would cost PHP 3,300 to fix it under our expenses when the damage could be just part of the wear and tear! Apparently, a guest spoilt the door just last month and paid the full cost of repairing, while another guest called for assistance when he had difficulty opening the door. It seems odd that with the door being such a frequent issue, nothing was done about it nor was it highlighted to guests of the instructions to open the door. It would either be us or the housekeeper who had to bear the repair cost. We did not think it's fair for us nor the housekeeper to bear the full cost of the repair, neither did we think the repair cost is reasonable. Hence we requested to speak to the owners directly. As we did not hear back from the housekeeper, naturally we lef Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"great services and stay regardless of managements"
Superior room in 7StonesApartments was rather small, When we called for room services, the only inconvinent is to settle all charges on the spot be it with cash or credit card as Apartment is different management from Suite. However the room it was neat and clean. The friendly keeper will usually be contactable when you approach the receiption. Asked […] if we can upgrade our room, Apartment only had 2 units, and it's full, so there no way to upgrade. We will like to specially compliment the 2 staffs who attended to us in the evening around 9pm at 7cafe on 25 Feb night. As both of us are vegetarians, and had spoken to Miss Fior before, they are able to customise vegetarian soups, pizzas, pastas, for us, and when they realised that it's our last night stay here with 7 Stones, they given us a good deal as well. They delivered it to our room in Apartment, just that there really no available space or even a table in the room for dinner, but they are very nice and patient to assist us to arrange the plates so that we can enjoy our late dinner. Next day before checking out, Apartment keeper also quite helpful to carry all the plates back to 7cafes. We tried breakfast buffet at 7cafes on the 24 Feb 14 as well, the staff is also able to customise vegetable soups for us as there no other suitable soups for us. very good services at 7cafes! we enjoyed our stay at 7Stones! "7stones is paradise on Boracay Island"
From the moment we arrived we knew this place was special. The porter and Housekeeper were fantastic and made us feel right at home. The rooms were big, clean and had everything you could possible need and want. The resort was clean, well maintained and had the friendliest staff we have ever experienced. The restaurant at the resort was fantastic. […] Great food, great service and an awesome breakfast. The resort is only a 5 minute walk to D'Mall which is perfect because you can spend the day on white beach - the main side of the island - then escape to the serenity of 7Stones when you're done. We honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. Everything was perfect. Do not hesitate to book at 7Stones. You won't be disappointed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"7Stones- 離 D'Mall 很近"
舒適且乾淨,房間走出去就是游泳池,離D'Mall 很近,走路約5分鐘就可到達,服務人員也非常友善與配合,非常值得推薦入住飯店.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We had an unforgettable experience in Boracay because of this hotel. After weeks of research.. reading of blogs and other reviews, I thank God we made the right choice. Breakfast is good. People are genuinely friendly. Room (Deluxe Suite) is excellent. Pool is clean and beautiful. Partial Seaview; Beachfront. No weddings or other events that may make you feel uncomfortable. You get to check in with people who likewise want privacy. No construction on going. Most of the few things we didn’t enjoy in our trip were not because of the hotel itself but they are noteworthy anyway: - Beach ofcourse is not as good as the white beach. - On your way to the hotel, filthy streets will welcome you. - Expect flies and mosquitoes.
"Good location, but overrated"
08/27/14 Carole N Singapore, Singapore
To be fair I felt it's overrated as I had expected a more luxurious hotel from the pictures. I had thought my room will be sea viewing with a balcony but I have no sea view and a tiny balcony that faces a disused land which kids go to play basketball early in the morning. Despite my disappointment, I do acknowledge some of the good things like the friendly and helpful reception, especially mr Gerald who sent us all the way to the ferry on our departure day and it was a rainy day. Downside, breakfast not excellent, limited spread. The pool water was abit cloudy on my first day there but I noticed it was cleaner on another day. But, the biggest question I have is why are there no deck chairs by the pool? The walkway beside the pool is narrow and that could be the reason but which means it's a design failure? I'm not sure where to put my clothes on the first day and I feel like I couldn't do my usual lounging by the pool with a book. Speaking of which the staff has a strange practice of asking for your room no., even though there is no reason for it. I was happily swimming in the pool, heading towards the pool bar and suddenly a staff appeared and asked me for my room no. I find the question intrusive if there is no reason to ask. Sometimes the security guard ask for room number when we return and sometimes they ask when we leave, who'd makes us wonder what is the real reason for it? Upon returning, it would be to ensure you are a hotel guest. But even so, sometimes they don't ask at all. Also, I felt like I couldn't enjoy my private time at the pool, only one in the pool at that time, with the above-mentioned staff and the guard at the entrance to the beach looking at me. The greatest downside is that the beach is not suitable for swimming as the sewage goes out there. Rooms are big but seems to be build for people with bigger build with the high ceiling and higher than usual clothes line to hang wet clothes which I had to tiptoe to reach it. Good points are, not crowded, walking distance to D mall, but route is dark at night, big rooms but insect repellent is a must!

This hotel is very close to the center (just 10 minutes) and to White Beach ( aprox. 15 minutes). Rooms are big enough and cleaning is regular. What I really like about this place is people working here. They always ready to assist so you feel very comfortable!

we stayed for 4 nights in their deluxe suite. room is huge with nice living room, bathroom, bedroom, kitchen and dining . plus a balcony with partial sea view. room itself is perfect. but remember to ask for higher level room and not the ground level room, you wont enjoy sitting at a balcony with people wandering in front of you. so remember to ask for higher level room. 7 stones is perfect if you prefer a quite stay, but if u love the crowd, dont stay here!

July 9-12, 2014: 7 Stones Boracay Suites was such a wonderful surprise to me and my family. We just returned from our trip a week ago and I'm already missing the place! I found this hotel online but was not too sure of it's location (located on Bulabog Beach). It's only a 10 minute walk to D'Mall and the main beach. Our suite was beautiful and perfect for our family of 4. Facilities were clean and the staff members are all nice and helpful. They accommodated my request for a couple's massage on the beach (normally done in the suite) and to dine on the beach (as oppose to eating at the 7Note Cafe). Breakfast was included everyday for all 4 of us, which is also a great plus! It's convenient and we were ready to start our day after breakfast. Also a plus is having it's own quiet beach, especially in the morning and end of day, a nice get-away from the very crowded White Sand/Stations 1 & 2. Because of it's open concept (no lobby doors), there's a 24-hour security guard. We totally felt safe there. Also, every afternoon, there's a turn-down service and they leave plates of freshly baked treats! Lastly, since we visited in July, the wind (Habagat season) blows on the main beach and Bulabog beach is calm and perfect for water activities! Don't miss the rooftop! A special shout-out to Dindo, the bar tender/waiter who waited on us most of our stay, Rochelle at front desk, and Sobair, the concierge! Thank you so much for our excellent stay! I totally recommend this hotel! ...submited by Myra K.

We travelled with family, 4kids with us. We stayed here for 2weeks, in a very nice suite 2 bedrooms just infront of the swimming pool. Very nice time indeed. Nothing not to like in here! Everything in this hotel is just perfect. food and drinks are very reasonable price. Service was great.Walking distance to the D'Mall. Boracay is a small island, easy to go around. We would like to come back in this hotel. We highly recommend!
Traveled with family of 4 adults and 1 kid. Got the family suites with pool view for MYR 720, 2 separate king size bed with its own bathroom. A jacuzzi, big living and dining room and a kitchen space. Hotel located on the other side of the more popular beaches, around half hour walk thru restaurants, shopping mall and other hotels. So it quite clean and free from loud noise. One set back however was the food. Their buffet has very little selection, other than that it was an excellent stay.
"An oasis in Boracay"
06/23/14 henrilemay Makati, Philippines
This is truly a gem. I have been to Boracay many times and stayed at quite a few places. I discovered 7 Stones about 3 years ago and felt in love with this resort. The place is truly an oasis. The Junior suites and Deluxe suites are quite spacious and very well maintained. The grounds are very well manicured and the service is courteous and discreet. The food is also very good. Details are well attended and the property is obviously very well managed. I have stayed at 7 Stones at least 5 times and I am always looking forward to go back. Truly a home away from home. It is close to everything. Located on Bulabog beach, it is peaceful and yet, close to the action of White beach which is only 10 minutes walk. During the dry season, one will enjoy the cooling breeze from the sea. This breeze makes Bulabog beach a popular spot for windsurfing and kite boarding during the dry season (November to June). During the monsoon (June to November), most water sports operators move from White beach to Bulabog as the sea by White beach can be quite perilous during that period. 7 Stones maintains an excellent position on Bulabog and delivers a great product. I strongly recommend 7 Stones. However, iIf you’re looking for a party place, then keep looking... I hope I won’t see you there..... Henri Lemay
"Hotel with a Bite"
06/22/14 Mr_Universal Miami Beach, Florida
Before I booked this hotel, I was wondering why there were some very bad reviews for a hotel that generally gets great remarks so the curiosity and the fact that I was getting the room at a great price for hotels in it's category got the best of me and I booked here for my one night stay in Boracay. I can see now why this hotel gets it's occasional bad feedback and I think it is because while the hotel has a lot of great attributes, it's service can be erratic at times. I think this a great hotel for some people and might not be a good fit for others. I will write a very detailed review here so that people can make up their mind whether or not to stay here. I want to qualify that this review and the rating takes into account that the hotel is competing in the luxury class because if this hotel was a value or budget hotel, I would give it a higher rating. So yeah, like I said I decided to give this hotel a try and arrived in the late afternoon to checkin and was greeted with a smile and the checkin process was efficient and smooth. I was welcomed to the hotel with a warm greeting along with a tea and necklace. Nice touch. I was given a room on the 3rd floor and upon my arrival to the room, I requested a room on the ground floor because I was feeling lazy and the place did not have elevators. The request was accommodated. Great. I liked the room on the ground floor and it appeared to be bigger then the room on the 3rd floor which was confirmed by one of the staff members later who told me that some of the rooms on the ground floor are indeed bigger. The AC worked ok and the wifi, while erratic in speed, worked for the most part. I really came to the hotel to relax and to be away from the craziness of Manila and so I had no interest in staying in the busier part of Boracay so I was happy with the quiet and calm ambience of the hotel. I hung out at the bar with some guys who worked at the hotel and they seemed like nice people. So far so good, right? Well, there are a couple of things that greatly impacted my adverse review. First and foremost, the room was full of mosquitos. I spent a better part of my night trying to kill them and just when I fought that all were gone, another one of two would appear. I checked the door, screen, and every other possible way for them to appear in the room but it appeared that they were in the room before my arrival. I also felt that there was a great deal of mosquito presence around the property also which is somewhat expected but given that I see some of the other hotels on the Island regularly fumigate to eliminate this issue, I think that the hotel should do more of this so that other guests don't experience what I did during my one night here and that is lack of sleep. I could not really sleep because I kept getting bitten and bothered by mosquitos in the room so I decided to stay up all night and do work which I guess in some ways was good for me because I was a little behind. But a room full of mosquitos is not what I expect from a room in a luxury hotel. In the early morning hours at around 6 24 A.M., I decided that I should really just checkout and try to take an earlier flight so I walked to the front desk and spoke with Janette and even showed her the towel with dead mosquitoes that I had used to kill them. She was nice and symphonic and made a good point that I should have just informed the front desk and try to change the room. I was just too lazy to do all that middle of the night, I guess. But I still don't expect a room full of mosquitoes in a luxury class hotel. As if this was not enough, I noticed that the staff was setting up breakfast. It was to start in about half an hour. I was thinking that maybe they can do some thing real quick for me before I left especially given the issue I had all night long, but the kitchen staff refused. Plain outright No. Janette called and asked them a couple of times but they would not accommodate even though they were obviously all around. While I understood the hotel policy of starting the breakfast at 7 A.M., I was surprised that they would not accommodate to the slightest degree. This was unfortunate especially given that I did not really sleep all night. And this is what brings me to this review and my disappointment. I do want to mention something about the location also which I think is great in some respect and possibly not the right place for others. Note that this is not on the happening part of the island. It is much quieter here. I liked it myself but it might not work for others. Also, please note that while the hotel is newer then others in the area, it is still located in the middle of number of dilapidated structures and shady surroundings and the entrance is indicative of this. But once in the hotel, you will see a modern structure. I personally was going to leave but when I approached the exit area of the hotel, there were so many dogs barking, I got nervous and decided to eat dinner at the hotel which by the way worked out because the food was actually decent. Finally, as the saying goes, once bitten twice shy. So will I try this hotel again? I think I would because I think there were enough good things about it to give it another shot and I believe that the hotel would take a hard look at some of the issues I outlined here and try to correct them. But I guess there is enough content here for a perspective traveler to make up his or her own mind based on individual preferences and taste.
