The rooms which overlook the pool have a nice aspect, so long as there are not screaming kids. Internet is charged through a provider.

Quite good except for: (1) Initially allocated & given the key to a room that was already occupied - quite an embarrassing experience (2) Basement carpark was like a labyrinth with no exit signage

Hubby and I were on the Gold Coast for 5 days, we stayed at Vibe, Raddison and the Crowne Plaza. We moved around due to rates and some trips so kept ending up back on the coast. Our last night was at the Crowne Plaza and we wished all of our nights were there. The hotel has been remodelled and has fantastic clean, spacious and modern rooms which is always principle concern for me. The location is a bit out of the heart of Surfers which is a good thing and the staff were very very helpful. Our room even had a view of the ocean from the bed and we didn't pay for an upgrade or anything. After being at 3 other hotels plus seeing inside a few others I can honestly say book here you won't be disappointed!

Had a fabulous 10 days there.our apartment was big and well designed with great sea and beach views.No road to cross right on the beach.Would stay again.Very near Goldcoast airport so a bit of plane noise .We did not mind this and enjoyed watching the planes flying over from the pool complex at the apartments.Be aware this is not a hotel and the apartment […] is not serviced.However you get clean bedding and towels once a week.Owners were very helpful.20 mins.drive to brodbeach. ...a very well equipped apartment which had everything we needed and more. Not the most modern or spotlessly clean place we've ever stayed in...but acceptable. The view was perfect, and coupled with the close proximity to a good selection of grocery stores ...San Simeon is well appointed. I would stay there again.
