      Varinda Garden sits on a hill above the tourist-filled beaches of Koh Samui Island and what you give up in near-ness to a beach is more than offset by the solitude, friendly service and unique charm of the resort. You can easily forget about the maddening traffic of motorcycles and cars on the road below. And with a large swimming pool filled with constantly- flowing, warm water, and surrounded by palm trees and tropical plants, who needs a beach anyway. A water slide is at the dividing line of two halves of the pool, and adults seem to enjoy it as much as kids. The decor of the restaurant and surrounding grounds is original and very tasteful -- in a very Thai way. Calling it quirky doesn't quite do it justice, since it all comes together nicely. Family-friendly, I'd love to return with our grandkids some day.

      I had a great stay here for 4 nights in Feb 2013. The beach is wonderful and just a short walk down the hill. The hotel lobby area and restaurant served great cheap food till around 10PM. They also had a wonderful pier/waterfront bar and restaurant which had the same menu but a different view. I had my own bungalow for the equivalent of $40/night with a queen sized bed and my own balcony with a hammock and chair. It was great staying here and if I'm ever in Koh Phangan again I'll be sure to stay here for at least a couple nights.

    The only word to describe this hotel is DISGUSTING. The owner parties with patrons until midnight in the bar so you can hear them screaming when you're trying to sleep. The room is filthy. Really filthy. There was sand all over my bed. The shower curtain looked like its never been washed. I can tell they never clean things. They only tidy things and […] put them in places.     Completely unpretenscious, basic comfort but with everything you need. In an interesting area of the Fishing Village. Management vey accommodating and will bend over backwards to help. Food is absolutely excellent

    The new owners Dave and Theresa are very helpful and took great care of us throughout our whole stay! The sheets are clean, breakfast is great, the hotel is close to the beach and restaurants! We will definitely stay here again next time on Koh Samui!

    Nettes Hotel mit schön eingerichteten Zimmern. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Der Pool gleicht eher einer Badewanne. Für das Geld war das Zimmer ok.

    hotellets personale er meget venlige og hjælpsomme.. der er ingen bar eller diskoteker så dette sted er billgere end andre steder i samui når det angår mad men andre ting er dog ikk meget billgere. det er godt for at slappe af og værelset er pæne nok med altan for rygere ..

Lukta litt mugg/ fukt på rommet men eier hadde anstrengt seg for å gjøre det rent og koselig.
