The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

Lovely pillows and linen as well as toiletries. Staff always very pleasant - stayed there now 4 or 5 times in past year. Breakfast in morning is free on the hotels.com deal, same for wi-fi. The hotel was of a high standard and good value for money. Spacious, comfortable bedroom. Didn't use the restaurant or bar, but room service was very good.

We were put in room 17. A really tiny room with the bed shoved against the wall so my husband had to climb over me to go to the toilet. the bathroom was not much better. I think I woke up the whole floor using the bath as the pipes were making the loudest noise ever. There was also a massive dip in the ceiling if you used the shower and were 6ft like […] my husband you will bang your head. Our room was cold and very noisy with the music below. Didn't sleep well at all. The breakfast was fun too as I asked for a poached egg when I went to reception and located a member of staff. I was told to pay extra as not inc in the buffet,The tea was like water and it took 30mins for them to bring out the included scrammbled eggs. It is such a shame because the actual house is fantastic. we expected more. Read more

Very kind and helpful staff specially the receptionist on duty when we checked in & subsequently. We chose this hotel as it was near the hospital. We had a garden room , which could have been a bit bigger with more storage room and a safe. Lovely grounds .

I found the hotel on line and can honestly say that the reviews and the pictures lived up to all that was said, it was a surprise for the Wife and she was not disappointed. Fantastic views, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms. We were upgraded to the Regency Suite so even better for us.
