I would definitely stay there again. The rooms were very clean, they had DirectTV service, and a late check out time. Walls are a little thin; however, we were still able to get a great night's sleep.

The overall stay was great the only problem that I seen was that they had a few chairs that needed to be replace from wear and tear and the tub was peeling from usage.

"Not a good place for business folks during the wk"
This is the first time I stayed at a facility where I didn't meet the staff until the following morning for breakfast. There was no one available when I checked in even though I had an "agreed" late check in time of 7-8pm. I had to "find my way" through the facility (which is strangely built, not like a regular house) to get to my room. They served […] breakfast on a weekday at 10am, so I was not able to participate at such a late time the following morning. I was not offered a different time to accommodate my busy business schedule so I ate elsewhere. The room temperature in my room was awful - I was not able to regulate my room and therefore had to venture out into the hallway 3 times throughout the night to turn the air up or down - thank goodness no one else was staying overnight or I might have affected their sleep. No venting in the bathroom so all the steam went directly into the sleeping area which made things even warmer. No ceiling fan to move the air. Windows didn't have screens so they couldn't be opened or they were old and nailed shut. And finally, it wasn't the easiest getting an itemized bill. The lady fixing breakfast didn't know how to generate a receipt for me so she put me on the phone with someone else who said she'd send me a copy via email. I did receive a copy but it was incorrect. The outside area was gorgeous. The inside (or a least our room) was very dated. Several things in our room were broken, and it was not very clean. For example, old soap was left in our room with hair on it--gross! I was disappointed with the breakfast--it was only average. "Lousy Service"
No one there to check us in, called number on door and got voice mail. Repair man on-site called and found manager who said room was open and just move in. The room has no exterior window which is against most building codes and is a safety issue. The ceilings were low and I had to duck to go through some doorways.(I'm only 6'4') My wife went to the […] restroom when we got there and there was no toilet paper on the holder, I looked through every drawer and cabinet in the room and there was none. Later we finally found a utility closet by the building entry door that had extra rolls in it. We never met or saw the manager. The site has a beautiful view of the lake and a nice sitting area at the dock though the boat repair shop, marina and restaurants next door are a distraction from the quiet beauty of the lake. (Bright lights and lots of noise) Breakfast is not until 10:00. (the day is half over) The food was good but not anything special. Very minimal and not much presentation. Wished we haddn't waited for breakfast. Crackerbarrell or IHOP would have been better, but we had already paid for it with the room. Not a good value! There seemed to be a general laziness about everything there. When they made up the bed, they left the decorator pillows on the floor in the closet where we had moved them to sleep. "Not like the pictures"
The rooms are not what I expected. It was a house that was converted into a motel. There was no parking except on a gravel patch. While we were there our car was hit one night due to the bar next door to it. You could hear the person across from you talking in their room. The stay was good but for the price I paid it was not worth it. I could have paid […] another 150.00 and stayed at the Arlington in downtown Hot Springs, with a parking garage. "Anniversary"
Could not have asked for a better place to stay. It is only a 10 minute drive to downtown and it is located right on Lake Hamilton. It was to be able to eat breakfast on the porch and look out onto the lake. Will be staying there again for sure and will recommend to friends!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay"
We stayed 2 nights at the Butler B&B. We've only stayed at a B&B one other time, so my experience is limited. We stayed in the Sweetheart room. Very nice. One thing to watch was a step going into the bathroom, once you got used to it it was OK. The rooms were clustered close together so there was some noise of other guests coming and going, but overall […] that was not a problem. It could be if you happen to be there with a noisy group, but that was not our case. There was some noise from the restaraunts close by and I imagine that would be worse as the weather gets warmer. "Butler Manor in Hot Springs, AR - Lakeside"
This unique little B & B has many qualities we liked and a few that were odd. Some of the areas appeared to be a bit aged, but the helpful staff and great weekend covered up some of the minor flaws. We were there on a down weekend before Thanksgiving, and they were putting up all the Christmas decorations and the Lake was down due to annual maintenance. […] But we really liked the amenities and minimal staff and other customers. It's location right on the main street was also quite convenient. One of it's neighbors didn't add to the lake view, but at least it was a wall. The themed rooms weren't overboard, and the breakfast was great. We spent most of our time enjoying Hot Springs, but the King Sized bed was a great soft comfort to return to both nights.
