Asoke Residence Sukhumvit - Bangkok

The hotel is located down an alley that in the States would give us pause, but there it was...absolutely refreshing, comfortable, and secure. I soon learned that Bangkok is that way: wonderful surprises down alleys. The "graveyard" shift receptionist does not always answer his phone, as I discovered when my taxi driver was trying to clarify the location […] at 3 AM; but don't let that stop you. When I got there, everyone was receptive and helpful no matter what shift. Breakfast was terrific! The pool is small but elegant. The rooms are clean! and spacious! The location to the air rail and the metro made it most convenient with no need for tuk tuks or taxis. Read more

The hotel's infrastructure is OK, but the staff is really great: a tremendous service spirit that shows in every detail. The hotel and staff were wonderful. I think this would be a great place for familes to stay. Access to the MRT and BST was easy enough and took you to nearby shopping and restaurants. The only downside was the location. It seem to lack a good choice of places to eat and what was there closed very early

Stayed in a junior suite which was most likely 1,000 square feet large. Room was very clean and hotel is set back from the road, which is very busy, so it was nicely quiet. There is a small store at the corner for snacks and sodas and the staff was very helpful. When we were heading to the airport our driver showed at 0530 in the morning and was drunk, […] Since we needed another taxi immediately, the hotel staff did not heistate to help us out in a more then timely manner. They also ordered our pizza for us when the restaurant staff could not communicate in English. I would recommend this hotel for an over night stay in Bangkok. Read more

We are a family of 5 and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The room was very spacious and clean, 2 bathrooms with beautiful soaps and shampoos. Breakfast simple, but lovely. Friendly staff, free DVD hire. Only a few restaurants within walking distance, but only a short walk to trains, and taxi's so cheap (on the meter).

We stayed here as a family at the end of our trip around Thailand, a last few days in Bangkok before flying back home. Although finding it was a little tricky as it sits back from the main road behind a few other buildings, we did find it to be a great location. It was very easy access to the Subway and about 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest BTS, so […] it was great for getting around. Took around 20mins by taxi to anothet hotel, at midnight.... while the communication of the staff of both hotels and the taxi driver needs improvement. Oppholdet på Asoke Residence Sukhumvit varte heldigvis ikke så lenge. Beliggenheten var grei, men med tanke på at vi hadde med oss to barn og en i rullestol var forholdene på hotellet dårlige. vår minste sønn på 1 år måtte ligge på gulvet på en madrass og vår 6 åring måtte ligge i vår seng, for de hadde rett og slett ingen senger til barna selv om det […] var spesifisert i bestillingen. Min mamma kan heldigvis gå litt, hvis ikke ville oppholdet blitt svært kronglete. Hun måtte gå i trapper fra resepsjonen og opp til heisen, og når vi skulle til restaurant området. Renholdet var dårlig, sokkene var svarte etter en runde på gulvet. men nå det er sagt, så var de ansatte både behjelpelige og hyggelig. og maten smakte nydelig. Read more

Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet . Trivelige ansatte og en herlig frokost . Ett stykke unna Sukhumvit ca 15-20 min gange men masse spisesteder i nærheten .Stille og rolige omgivelser. Stor og fin leilighet , men noe minus grunnet dusjhodet på badet. Men ellers en positiv opplevelse .
