"Charming Cornwall B&B"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 27, 2012
Once we had found our way down the narrow Cornwall lanes, we were very pleased with this B&B. The nearby Portscatho was just the sort of tiny coastal village we had hoped to find in Cornwall. It's a bit out-of-the-way, down narrow, hedge-row-lined lanes, but Trewithian Farm is a lovely place with pleasant hostess and fine English breakfast.

Hearty, gourmet food - best on entire trip!! Extraordinarily helpful hosts at front desk who helped research bus schedules and gave a lift to town. Local bus stop very near. Lovely walking trails at nearby manor house gardens.
"Newquay, Cornwall"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 19, 2012
We enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lodge. The owners were very helpful. They gave us great directions and offered good suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was included and tasty. It was a bit away from the action but that worked for us and we loved Porth Beach. We would recommend and will stay there again.

The county’s most rugged scenery and best beaches - Porthtowan, St Agnes, Perranporth, Polzeath, Newquay - are to be found here along with world-class surfing at Newquay. The latter is the most commercialised resort, with family attractions and a throbbing nightlife. The pretty fishing village of Padstow is the fashionable foodie capital of the region, while the spectacular Tintagel Castle ruins wrap themselves in the legend of King Arthur.

"Very Convenient"
The hotel is in a central location, across the road from a shopping centre but in a quiet street and a nice neighbourhood. Long term Parking is available under the shopping centre. The room and bed are rather small. The only hotel in our 10 week travel to charge €2.50/day (non-refundable) for the use of the in-room safe. Laundrette in the neighbour […] hood. "Nice place, would recommend."
Nice place, good hosts, very helpful through out our stay. Very clean rooms but decor a little dated. No parking and additional charges apply. Car park available which is a minute or so walk from the accommodation. Close to shops, restaurants and beach.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Pencrebar B&B in Newquay, Cornwall"
If you are looking at a good, genuine B&B to stay in Cornwall, look no further than the Pencrebar in Berry Road in Newquay. Newquay is a good base to explore Cornwall as you are in the middle of the northern coast equidistant from places of interest like St Ives, Zenoor, Sennen, Land's End along the western coast, and Truro and Mount St MIchael and […] Lizard point on the south side of Cornwall. Newquay is also just a 35 min drive from Padstow. The B&B is run by an experienced husband and wife who have redecorated the place in light colours. The place was spotless, very clean and breakfast was of a very good quality. The Pencrebar B&B is also ina very good location in Newquay, 2 minutes walk from the seafront and with good restaurants within walking distance. Recommend staying at the Pencrebar. "great stay"
I was on the top floor, but that was not a problem. Mike offered to help us bring bags up. The room was nice and snuggly. Breakfast was generous. Mike was very helpful with what there was to do. The downside was that there was only soap available, and the shower wasn't very powerful.Genuine Expedia guest review
