This was a great stay. The room was huge and comfortable with a nice canopy bed, plenty of storage, and a nice TV. View was amazing as we could see the ocean from our 3rd floor room. The bathroom was very large with a giant tub that easily fit 2. The shower was lovely and a nice size, though the water pressure could of been a bit better. The location of this hotel was perfect. We came in at Edinburgh Waverly and several buses (5, 44, 113, 24X) all stop RIGHT in front of the hotel. There is an ASDA (walmart super store) with a wonderful breakfast cafe about 10 minutes walk. Porto Bella is about 15 minutes away which is a gorgeous little beach front area with an amazing cafe in the swim center that makes homemade food. The bus will get you into Edinburgh in about 30-45 minutes. Edinburgh castle, Arthur's seat, the Parliament, etc is all there. One of the best hotels I have stayed in at a great price. The Bistro, Bar and Restaurant downstairs were good but very expensive.

This was my favorite town and hotel out of our stay and we'll be coming back. The staff was so friendly and suggested some really wonderful places to eat!

Very clean with excellent staff. Free breakfast was generous and tasty. About a 10 minute walk from Prince's Street. Great place for the money. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks Hotels.Com.

"Perfect stay again"
This is the second time we have stayed in the superior suite and there will be a third. We only stay a mile from the sun inn but for a night away from the kids this is the perfect stay. The food is also fantastic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great stay for my purpose"
Excellent room 5 suite overall, with lovely welcoming touch - chilled bottled drinks and hand cut crisps. Delicious home made cookies. Breakfast was really top quality and quantity - had smoked salmon and scambled eggs with added crispy bacon strips on the side...chosen from an impressive menu. The bedroom was luxurious and the bed was extremely comfortable. […] The shower room could do with a curtain as one reviewer mentioned before and the hot/cold control for the shower can be little temperamental but this is minor compared with all the other excellent bits. The staff are wonderful and helpful. Although i did not have the opportunity to eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant downstairs - the menu looked brilliant... Best of all, the price from Hotel.com booking with discount it was cheaper than 'lesser' hotels nearby. Location was perfect to get to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary as I had my car - ample free carparking. For business - inclusive wifi in room was free and speedy.
