This hotel was in a perfect location right at a bus stop. The room was a bit small for American standards (no place to do yoga) but it was comfy. I stayed for a week and the staff was always cleaning the building. It was such a nice environment! The food was really good and the chef was always around.

Well managed hotel - very friendly and accommodating staff. Food choice was somewhat limited, but adequately compensated by a variety of options in the city which is about a couple of miles away.

Overall our stay was great, the room was comfortable and the staff very helpful, The only downsides for me - I wish the bar area food had not been quite so expensive (over 60 pounds for a burger, baked potato, childrens meal and 2 drinks) also when we checked in around 4pm we requested a cot for our daughter, we had to call back twice before it finally arrived around 7:30.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Rooms a bit small but clean and highly functional. Big bonus is access to excellent gym next door. Can be busy near the holiday season as they have a lot of holiday/office parties, but the noise level from the revellers has not been too bad!

"A Real English Pub. Long may they survive."
Restaurant ambience and food were excellent. Room was warm, large and well provided with hospitality tray and toilet consumables even down to fluffy white robes. Shower was a disappointment. Temperature control was unpredictable. Also a few buffet items at breakfast would have made the excellent cooked breakfast perfect. Very good, nice clean room, lovely breakfast. Didn't see anywhere on the site to say the restaurant was closed monday so unfortunately ate somewhere else in the evening, which is a shame because breakfast suggested that the food was really good.
