Very busy hotel,excellent service given by very friendly staff. Good choice of food menu all reasonably priced. Only thing to be aware of need to be able to climb stairs especially if situated on 2nd floor.

Room was small. No bath tub just shower. TV was a first edition 17" iMac with a TV converter. Served a purpose as an over night stay but would consider elsewhere for a longer stay. Breakfast was OK. Not much different from a nice Premier Inn only double the cost. Hotel was clean.

This hotel was in a perfect location right at a bus stop. The room was a bit small for American standards (no place to do yoga) but it was comfy. I stayed for a week and the staff was always cleaning the building. It was such a nice environment! The food was really good and the chef was always around.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days while visiting friends and family and were very pleased. The "hotel" is a brand new apartment complex with a small reception just inside the entrance. Rooms were big, bright and well appointed. Location is fantastic, right next to the Arndale Centre. The only complaint about the entire place was that the sofa-bed wasn't the comfiest. Will definitely stay here again!

"Delightful gem with welcoming service"
As a single female traveller arriving during a very busy Saturday night in the restaurant I was made to feel instantly welcome. Despite the bustle of the busy restaurant downstairs my room, No1 was very peaceful and whilst compact had ample wardrobe, drawer and dressing table space and a roomy shower. The room was fresh with nice linens and a comfy […] bed. The window opened for fresh air. The owner personally escorted me to the room and then said he could fit me in for dinner (even though the resturant looked packed). I had a lovely, very resonably priced dinner. Good pub food and again great service. There is a gorgeous little church right next to the pub that is worth a visit. It was fabulous - sad I was on business! I stay in lots of hotels alone and felt safe and secure. "Old world charm and good food"

"Pictures don't do it justice"
My friends were getting married in the area and I needed a place to stay overnight. I booked the Egerton Arms because it was close to the wedding venue and it seemed quite reasonably priced. I felt I was taking a bit of risk because I wasn't that convinced by the images of the rooms. I needn't have worried. I arrived on a sunny Sunday, much earlier […] than the advertised check-in time, and they were more than happy to accommodate. I had warned them in advance, but they were very attentive and I didn't mind waiting for a short time in the well kept gardens. The room was large and comfortable with a modern en-suite bathroom. "Welcoming, friendly and comfortable"
I stayed a couple of nights either side of a wedding nearby. Unfortunately, that meant checking in late in the evening - which I was worried might be a problem. "Honest me"
Country Pub Hotel with great atmosphere, good food and very friendly owners and staff. Room space restricted due to squeezing in a 5' bed. Bathroom door could only be opened half way due to bed location. Bathroom door had to be continually opened and shut to get to kettle. Furniture somewhat cheap.
