We were put on almost the top floor due to renovations happening below, no complaints there. It was very modern and nice. Big flatscreen, comfy bed, modern cool bathroom with a round wooden tub combined into the shower space (clever), nice lighting and complimentary high speed (wired) internet access in the room, this is a huge perk for me. The slight […] misses were the drainage issue in the shower, we basically flooded the room both times we showered, and the restaurant off the lobby (where breakfast is served). The in room info says they are open until 11pm for dinner, we arrived at 10:40 and were turned away. It was later explained that last seating is at 10:30pm. This may be something common in this country but not in the U.S. I think they should advertise last seating at 10:30pm. Otherwise it was great, very comfortable, the staff was great, they got us a taxi when needed and the complimentary breakfast was good with a good selection. I would definitely stay here again though I would like them to address the shower drainage issues. Read more

I was very happy with the hotel. There was a choice of restaurants in the lobby and an excellent buffet breakfast. The staff were kind and friendly. The room was huge especially the bed. Great room and facilities. The pool area could do with some plants and maybe some umbrellas for the afternoon sun but not many people spend a lot of time by the pool as they are out exploring the countryside. The rooms are serviced daily and a second visit by room service occurs in the late afternoon to check if anything is needed. A slight problem with the drainage in the shower but if the drain plug was taken out the water flowed away well. Loved the waterfall shower. All around good hotel. If visiting the hotel dining areas check how long a meal will take as on occasion you may wait for an inordinate amount of time for service if it is busy.I would recommend the hotel to any future travellers. Hotel was quite new and rooms were lovely. Shower was especially nice! If you don't plan on lounging around the hotel all day and just want somewhere comfortable to rest and sleep then would most definitely reccomend this hotel. A new and very nice hotel right in the middle of Kota Kinabalu. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room vas nice and clean. The were only two bad things 1. as in most hotels in Asia, the hard matresses, 2. very small area around the pool.

Loved the rooms in this hotel. Breakfast was OK for variety though average compared to other hotels I've stayed at and service at breakfast was average though to be fair it was extraordinarily busy because of included breakfast promotion the hotel had been running. We were in Sabah in the chinese new year. The location of Horizon Hotel is the best, it is about 15 minutes walking to Jesselton Point where you take boots to several islands. 3 minutes walking the the gaya street where a very interessting market on sunday. It is also close to the handicraft market und nicht market, so you can walk to shopping and […] sightseeing. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. The pool is relativ small. We spent 8 nights in the hotel in the beginning of 2012. Breakfast was good and the service excellent. The staff was very kind and polite, even recognize us in the town! Stayed two nights. Very comfortable room facing the ocean, great view. Close to local shops, night markets, restaurants and shopping centres. Staff at the hotel restaurant were very friendly, helpful and always smiling. My only suggestion is that they include more of the Asian menu into room service.

비행기가 밤 1시 넘어 도착하는 관계로 도착날은 비교적 깨끗하다는 호라이즌 1박으로 잡았어요. 전체적으로 검은 색 인테리어가 어두운 느낌이고 산뜻하다는 느낌은 없었구요 조식도 먹을 게 별로 없었어요(저 호텔팩 자주 다니는 1인). 쇼핑하자면 센터포인트까지도 좀 걸어야 했구요(약 5분이상이지만 아이가 징징). 하지만 저희가 시내에 비행기타기 전까지 1박했던 다른 호텔에 비하자면 담배 연기도 없고 깔끔한 느낌이었어요

地點正正在市中心，接近各主要食市、 美麗華超市、 Waterfront 及 Jessiton Point 非常方便， 不用乘車便可到徒步至主要景區。 泳池面積不算細， 但泳池傍只有3將太陽椅的面積比較細，沒有足夠地方可以坐。 自助早餐真的很一般， 酒店房間夠大，乾淨舒適， 地點在市中心， 不能計較景觀了！下次還會再入住。
