Hearty, gourmet food - best on entire trip!! Extraordinarily helpful hosts at front desk who helped research bus schedules and gave a lift to town. Local bus stop very near. Lovely walking trails at nearby manor house gardens.

We enjoyed our stay at the Pine Lodge. The owners were very helpful. They gave us great directions and offered good suggestions for things to do. Breakfast was included and tasty. It was a bit away from the action but that worked for us and we loved Porth Beach. We would recommend and will stay there again.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Very hospitable and friendly people who run a 'nothing is too much trouble' type of service. Chycara House is set in a beautiful garden surrounded by the foliage synonymous with the British countryside. We stayed in the lodge and it was lovely! The hotel grounds and rooms are beautiful and the pool is extremely well maintained (and open all hours). "Difficult to locate initially"
My sat nav took me to the wrong address, about 1/2 a mile away, took around 1 1/2 hours to find the hotel once in the area, once there very impressed clean tidy friendly staff amazing grounds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This not a hotel. It is a up market B&B where you are staying in the heart of the owners accommodation. Lovely setting. Even has a swimming pool. Ideal for a relaxing break and to tour the area. An idyllic retreat tucked away in rural privacy , yet within easy reach of Truro , Falmouth and the rest of south cornwall . The facilities were excellent and , during our stay , undersuscribed . On arrival at Chycarra we were told that we had been allocated "The Lodge" and not in the house. The cootage was in a beautiful part of the grounds, with three bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen.
