Like the Vatican Library, this little gem is rarely seen. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff at this accommodation - they were friendly, extremely helpful and made you feel part of their 'family'. The rooms or apartments themselves were exceptional. They were big, we had plenty of room for bags, shopping, etc. We also had a separate lounge […] room and bedroom. The rooms were clean, tidy and serviced daily. We were so fortunate to have stayed at this place. It is central to everything, and we do mean everything. Alll the attractions of old Rome are literally within walking distance. The rear view from the terrace is scaring but that's reflecting Rome. The property itself is in very good conditions, everything is matching latest european standards. If you open the windows during night its noisy. Using the air conditioning system (by room, time progammable) - it is very silent. All sightseeing spots are reachable by walking, its really in the center (piazza Venezia). Taxi from international airport should be at fixed price of 40€. Don't fear, drivers know what they do ;o). Hence, I repeat what others wrote: "Best kept secret in Rome". And so you find it: Keep on walking the small street until the end and watch the markings on doors, stay left, ring the bell and don't enter the shoe shop on the opposite side... Be on time 12 o'clock on sundays @ St Peter listening and watching the Papa's personal live speech, it will be worth it!!! In the morning you can get an espresso take away from the bistro at the corner to your room - half price compared to sit-down there. Fantastic customer service. Nice, comfy bed and fresh, newer linens. We fit a family of six in the one bd apartment with a loft. The living room sofas broke down into two extra beds! Clean room, nice bathroom. Withing walking distance to Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps, Pantheon.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel - stayed on two different occassions and in two different rooms. Rooms are more of the modern variety compared to other hotels in italy; was a central location to many sight seeing locations. cost about 10euro to get here by taxi from train station. wireless internet worked in one room but not the other, internet was […] free despite price listed on website. was cold one of the nights but unable to find an additional blanket in room. when we booked stayed in studio deluxe and executive room the second time, in hindsight i would just have stayed with studio deluxe, executive is larger and fits 3 people, but we did not need that and could have saved the cash. hotel has elevator (odd to write in review but should mention it as most of them you have to climb 3-4 flights of stairs). would stay here again due to location and it more modern looking interior compared to similarly priced hotels. hotel entrance is off to the side in a short sketchy looking street, but we felt quite safe, even at night. also hotel helped us call a cab for 5am to airport-40euro. standard fare as listed in cabs Read more

Sehr günstig und zentral gelegenes Apartmenthotel. In einer kleinen Seitenstraße an der Piazza Venezia. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Laufentfernung. Durch die Lage in einer kleinen Seitenstraße ist der allgegenwärtige Verkehrslärm in der Innenstadt auf ein erträgliches Maß reduziert. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Nous revenons d'un séjour en amoureux de trois nuitées au Dolce Vita.( 23-26 mars) Nous sommes enchantés par l'accueil fort aimable et la disponibilité du personnel , par la propreté irréprochable de l'appartement. Après la surprise de l'ascenseur qui s'ouvre directement sur la porte d'entrée , nous avons apprécié le mobilier moderne et confortable […] , particulièrement la literie qui est d'excellente qualité , l'entretien des lieux est assuré quotidiennement . S'il faut émettre une critique éventuelle , c'est peut-être le signal de l'ascenseur qu'on entend arriver à l'étage pour desservir l'autre appartement , toutefois, ce n'est qu'un bruit léger auquel on s'habitue rapidement . Un avantage certain est aussi la situation géographique de l'hôtel , cela permet de découvrir Rome majoritairement à pied (proximité de la partie antique) et de prendre des transports en commun nombreux et fréquents. Le petit déjeuner peut être pris au coin de la rue et c'est vraiment varié et délicieux. En conclusion, si l'occasion nous est offerte de revoir Rome , nous reviendrons assurément au Dolce Vita et nous le recommandons vivement! Read more
