I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Columbia. The staff were very friendly and some spoke english (which helped). The breakfast was buffet style with an ok selection of items. The hotel is in the city center so it is older, but I sort of like that charm. Just know if you prefer things to be completely modern, you will not like it. All in all, it was clean which is the most important. A/C worked fine and there were no problems with the internet. There are several networks you can use, so which ever picks up the best signal. The comfort of the beds could be a little better, but it wasnt horrible. Windows have a metal draw down which is great if you want to sleep in without the sunlight coming through. The surrounding neighborhood can be a bit seedy and seem dangerous because of the people hanging out and some vagrants, but to be fair, I noticed that through just about the entire city. It sort of reminded me of San Francisco in that sense. (Again, nothing directly against the hotel, because it was all over). All in all, I would stay there again. Also, from the airport (GRU) it is very easy to use the airport bus to Praca Republica and the hotel was a 7 minute walk away. With traffic, the bus took about 50 minutes, but I flew home on a Sunday and it only took 30 minutes to get back to the airport from Praca Republica. (The airport bus has an office in Praca Republica).

It is unbelievable but this hotel does not have heat. The rooms have individual air conditioner units but they are not heat pumps. Stay away from this hotel in winter !

Perto de Congonhas. O serviço de translado é ótimo, porém para se locomover ao metrô somente de taxi ou reze para um coletivo que faz ponto ao lado do Hotel parar para você... Voltaria ao hotel com certeza. Ótima cozinha, serviço de quarto nota 10.

Os quartos possuem ar-condicionado, frigobar e conveniências (salgadinhos, etc), serviço que é muito adequado para quem chega tarde ou vai ficar pouco tempo. Há também um serviço de lanche 24hs. Pedimos sanduíches de pão árabe que estavam ótimos. É uma pena que o restaurante feche às 23 hs. POderia ficar aberto, pelo menos, até à meia-noite. É a única coisa de que não gostamos. Hotel muito bom localização boa.mas a recepção tem que menhorar ,uma atendente para atender varias pessoas quem chega quer subir para o quarto logo, ai vc. fica aguardando na fila até ser atendida.Mais pessoas para atender, quarto o chao é maravilhoso facil de limpar mas a moça foi no dia seguinte, para limpar ok tudo limpo mas percebi que […] ela não limpou o chão, peguei a toalha e pasei com o pé no soalho saiu muita sugeira então como vou confiar de andar sem calçado, no quarto. Um bom hotel, com atendimento rápido e prestativo. Quarto espaçoso, cama confortável, limpeza adequada, café da manhã de qualidade. Estacionamento do hotel bastante desorganizado, mas nada que comprometa qualidade geral dos serviços. Recomendo.

Excelente hotel tudo muito bom recomendo, só fique um pouco preocupado com a reserva que não apareceu no sistema do hotel pois eu tinha feito no sabado e entrei no domingo, mais eu levei a confirmação do site e deu tudo certo. Otimo atendimento!!
