Bed was not bad but there was no space in the room other than being on the bed and the bathroom was tolerable at best. The front door did not seal out the sound of the highway 50 feet away. Definitely stay on the back side of the building. People at desk were very nice though and quick to help you.

The room was clean, very small though. Full size bed in the room, despite online description that says queen size. When I asked the front desk clerk he stated "it is a queen, just an older model queen bed." Imagine the look on my face! I did not know that older model queens came in the form of a full size.

If you're sensitive to noise you may want to rethink this hotel. The hotel is by a highway, railroad crossing and under the airports flight path.

Employees and were very rude. I paid for a queen bed and he put me in a room with a twin size bed. The phones in the rooms do not work. The man running the place is very dishonest. He lied about the rate and the gates to enter the parking lot.

This is not for a long stay but if your getting in at 1:00 am and leaving by 7:00 am, it will do. It's close to the highway for a quick get away.

Getting a decent stAy on a budget can be tricky! But rodeway inn not only met, but exceeded my expectations. For a 1 night stay it worked. Room was small, but it was just me and fiance. You can tell they're trying to upgrade b/c some amenities like counter sink and mirror and fixtures were new. The room was booked for one night, access from the interstate is great, customer service was good, leaving the hotel to get back to the interstate requires a U-turn on a very busy street (not convenient or safe); the area is very noisy (vehicle, train and airport noise), however, for a one night stay without the family, it was alright!!!

The room we reserved wasn't available and had to settle for another one. Cleaning staff was understaffed and one lady was trying to do it all. Access to the parking lot was from one direction only, or else bounce over a median. Only one way into the parking lot as well. Lots of noise, airplanes, trains and big trucks. The location wasn't very good and safety for myself/vehicle was a concern. You get what you pay for with a 2-star hotel. Three minute drive from downtown Charlotte. In decent condition, nothing great but not bad by any means. Worked great for what we needed. The best thing about it was the staff. They offered great places to eat, very friendly, even printed off coupons for me that I could not print. If I go back to Charlotte I will be staying here again!

GTHe hotel was okay, clean, in good repair. However, the neighborhood is not the best. Also, the trains, airplanes and automoboles make it hard to sleep. There was noise most of the night.

Stayed for 1 night for the Charlotte race. Sits right on the road and you can hear cars passing, but non the less I actually slept pretty good. Definitely would not stay for more than 1 night.

Very convenient, but surrounding area to the rear of the hotel is a little scary. Onsite security is extensive. This is a no frills motel but we found it clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and helpful. A great way station on the way to or from the south if you don't mind an older motel.
