We stayed for 4 nights and have a fantastic stay. The staff were all very helpful and the gym and pool were an added bonus. I would 100% recommend this hotel, it's modern, clean, and has everything you'd need for a very comfortable stay in the old town area of Montreal. And it's great to see that Wi-Fi is free (as it should be in all hotels in my opinion).

Ended up staying overnight en route to Mont Tremblant but had it not been for the lure of the slopes, we would never have left! Probably the best hotel we have stayed in; better then the 4 seasons and one & only etc. the restaurant is first class as is everything about this hotel. Top draw. Faultless.

Location.
Situated in the heart of Montreal, Hotel Chateau St-Marc is close to Canadian Centre for Architecture, Bell Centre, and Notre Dame Basilica. Also nearby are Saint Joseph's Oratory and Mount Royal Park.
Hotel Features.
Dining options at this business-friendly hotel include a snack bar/deli. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. Complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. This 3.5-star hotel features business amenities including a 24-hour business center and a meeting/conference room. "more than expected"
From the outside, the place was interesting. Inside, it was really lovely ... I stayed in a great room, with a sitting area, really comfortable king size bed, great shower and jacuzzi tub ... more than expected to be sure ... a hot breakfast with really good coffee.

Aside from the fact that the showers are extremely small, the hospitality made up for it. Great service, coffee and parts of breakfast could use a little help. Overall we were very pleased and would definitely not only stay there again, but gladly refer Hotel Chateau St. Marc.

Recently stayed at the hotel chateau st marc for 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! Decadent decor and furnishings make this hotel a true gem. Breakfast is cooked for you every morning in a lovely little dining and kitchen area. One block from Ste Catherine street, a main shopping area in Montreal, was very convenient. Always something […] in a short walking distance for food! Also fairly close to Old Montreal and Parc du Mont Royal. It is also right off of the highway making it easy to find and limiting the driving you have to do in the city. I recommend parking in the lot the hotel recommends, it's only 10$/day which is super cheap compared to all other large cities I've ever been to, instead of risking parking on the streets with very confusing rules and regulations where you're bound to get a hefty parking ticket. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself back in Montreal. Read more

Although this hotel is very tiny, cramped and over-stuffed with furniture, the service and charm were delightful. The pictures are exaggerated to say the least. Our room was small but comfortable, and the bathroom with double jacuzzi tub was just magnificient and made it worthwhile. It felt like we were staying in someone's apartment more than a hotel. Due to flight issues, I arrived after 3 AM. Despite this late arrival time, one of the staff members greated me warmly and carried my bags to my room. The rooms are great. The furniture is beautiful and the bed was comfortable.The proprietor prepared breakfast for me both mornings there and we had delightful conversations. "Love this place! Amazing!!!!!"
This hotel was such a big part of what made our stay so wonderful! It was so comfortable and cozy with a bunch of unexpected extras! We enjoyed staying in on the rainy days we had lounging in the super comfortable bed, and taking wonderful soothing sauna baths in the amazing tub! The breakfast was beyond expectations -full of choices and prepared fresh […] in front of us in the kitchen. It was so relaxed and personal, it felt like home, but better! They also had a delicious wine tasting on the roof! The perks never ended. Fresh flowers, wifi, cable, lots of personal effects. Loved coming back "home" every night to the Chateau St-Marc. Ive stayed many places and would come back for the experience to stay here again! We also loved our new friend Chu Chu. :) Im telling all of my friends who visit Montreal to stay here! Thishotel has just opened. We spent our anniversary there and were very pleased with the service and friendliness of the staff. It has the ambiance of a bed and breakfast, but is luxuriously appointed and designed with an attention to detail usually associated with a boutique hotel.
