"Mala relación calidad-precio"
El Spa es decepcionante. El restaurante del hotel muy caro en relación a la calidad. Las cinco estrellas que muestran en la página web no se ven reflejadas en los servicios ni las instalaciones que presta el hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Muy tranquilo, pero con tantas esquinas de ambiente, con servicio del bar, que nunca se puede aborir. La picina y el SPA genial.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A special Oasis in Girona"
10/10/14 Tony3142 Melbourne, Australia
This place has to be seen to be believed. What the owner Eva has done in transforming this old monastery into a a boutique hotel and relaxation oasis is simply gob-smacking. The interplay between the old and the new is amazing, each room is a creation in its own right and has a credible theme that works. We stayed in the silver room with great views of the pool, grounds and the sea. It took us a while to visit, and we glad we came. Will definitely visit again.

We ended a 12 day trip to Spain with two nights at Sant Pere del Bosc Hotel & Spa and wow- I couldn't dream of a better ending. The historic monastery has been renovated with impeccable attention to detail and design. The dirt road leading up to the monastery goes through a beautiful nature area that trails for hiking, mountain biking, dirt bike riding, horseback riding, etc. From the top, the vista includes forested area and the Mediterranean Sea in the near distance. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and varied. Our room, #1 Rosalia de Castro, was a very comfortable and spacious junior suite. Beautifully appointed with three huge windows with views on two sides. We enjoyed coming back at night after dinner and sitting outside in the quiet of the night under the starry sky. The salt water pool is situated beautifully into the surrounding with plentiful plush chaise lounges and an adjacent indoor spa water circuit. We ate two breakfasts at the restaurant L’India in the outdoor dining room and took a cooking class out there as well. The chef, Josep, plans the daily menu according to what is freshly available. Josep taught our cooking class beginning with a trip to procure the fish and vegetables -- the ingredients for a scrumptuous "suquet". We sauteed, chopped, cut, pulverized, and grated, learning techniques and discussing intricate methods of the region. We learned a lot and had tons of fun in a beautiful setting. And… the meal we cooked was incredible -- easily the best meal I had in Spain -- and we ate more than our fair share of great meals in Spain. While there we also visited the beautiful beaches and parks and ventured to the alluring town of Girona just 35 minutes away by car. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful hotel, restaurant and spa! Thanks to Active Gourmet Holidays (http://www.activegourmetholidays.com/home) for putting this on our itinerary!

This hotel was of a very high standard, from the drive up to the last day everything was perfect. The location was beautiful with stunning views, approx 7 km to sea. The pool and spa were modern well equipped and staff very friendly. The restaurant outside next to main hotel was also of a high standard. Bedrooms modern light and of a high standard. Could not fault this hotel for anyone wishing to take a relaxing few days away it ticked all the boxes.

The food was superb. Simple ingredients but with complex and stunning flavours. The service was excellent, as well as the surroundings. Not too expensive considering what you recieve. Lloret and gastronomy, who would have thought it a good combination..? We will definitely return!
"Really nice respite from the city"

Just beautiful setting in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean. Pool was so refreshing and the adjacent spa rejuvenating. Poolside service was also great. Rooms spacious and AC nice and cool. Breakfast was delightful. Would stay here again definitely. GPS warning: don't follow google maps on cami San pere Bosc because it's a washed out dirt road. Instead contact the hotel direct for better access.

The staff were first class, extremely helpful and attentive but not too much. Able to relax and unwind, food at the hotel was good, dining next door was superb. My wife and I enjoyed our stay whilst playing golf and visiting Girona. Shall definitely stay at the Sant Pere again. Terry and Penny
"Just fabulous and unforgettable"

A little paradise on top of a hill among trees, rabbits, sun, cicadas, birds ...an old redecorated monastery in which there are only 20 well furnished, clean , fresh ans spacious bedrooms. It's very destressful, the staff is both very present and discreet . Food is more than fresh , made of their own vegetable garden. The garden is very big with comfortable deck chair everywhere. everything is Homemade for breakfast. Swimmingpool and spa are great too ; we tried massage which were professional . the view is fantastic too An unforgettable place
"My fully relax days"

Spend a lovely week in this hotel at the end of March 2014. You could find here beauty, silence and exclusivity. Under exclusivity I mean the absence of overcrowded surroundings and presence of individual approach. At that, the hotel is refined but not pompous thus if you are a big city child, you could escape here from crazy “big city life” and from conventionalities named “noblesse oblige”. Simultaneously, think you could easily blow the air for a while if, for example, you decide to make any event with group of friends (I image how hilariously it could be). And still you will feel exclusivity and individual approach as it will be only your party. And what a romantic days could be if you travel with couple! I only regret that I did not take with me my jogging boots and suit and have realized that I’ve missed perfect morning jogging. Next time I will definitely take my sneakers with me. And will not forget a swimming suit. Though that time I’ve just bought the one in SPA small shop for such a girl as me (who every time if not going for a sea rest, do not take swimming suit thinking that she will not enter the water :)). And I enjoyed the SPA then. But I want to say: do not expect of fully change of your appearance and especially if you do not permanently care of yourself in usual days (some people think that if they once order SPA procedures they should than become at once a teenager). This is not a medical center, this is a SPA hotel, where you could definitely receive relax and SPA care, and probably some recommendations. So just enjoy. I would not say much about the food as most evenings I was out of the hotel thus only tried the breakfast. The usual European (continental) breakfast. For me it is more than enough. If you prefer this plenty as described in “Gargantua e Pantagrue” than, afraid, you will be disappointed :) . The way here: definitely by car. Or you could use taxi service. So, many thanks to me that I’ve chosen Sant Pere del Bosc and many thanks to all helpful staff of the hotel for making my days here convenient and relaxing.
"A BIT SCRUFFY AT THE EDGES"

By no means as good as we'd been lead to believe. Very poor access and badly signed. Glorious position high up and overlooking the sea - should be fantastic on a summers day. But the whole thing is spoiled by it being slightly tacky. The plastic grass (which should not be used) is very badly laid and the car park, which is essential, is muddy in wet weather. The cooking was good though and a glass of wine was a generous measure.
"A stunning peaceful find ten minutes from the costa brava"

We came to the area for a business meeting and made the most of it by staying outside of barcelona for a relaxing break at this gem of a converted ancient building in glorious grounds in view of the sea. The owners have lovingly and professionally converted the original 'mansion in the woods' to a luxury spa hotel. We asked for a room with bath and were upgraded to a gorgeous suite with luxury lounge overlooking pool, patio and palm trees. The spa is free to use (we came in nov) and we had it (candlelit) to ourselves, just a 30 second walk from the room. It's really a thalassotherapy salt water spa to massage away aches, with steam room and we slept like logs afterwards. Really want to come back in season when we can relax around the pool which is surrounded by high quality rattan furniture and I get the impression nothing would be too much trouble, you would barely move from your lounger! A Delicious impromptu lunch was produced upon request when we arrived comprising carefully prepared salad, cold cuts and local cheeses washed down with local wine. Pricey at 50 euros for 2 but well worth it. Cannot fault this place and will eat here in the restaurant later which will appeal to the discerning diner. Will be back.
