"Fabulous 5 star by the sea"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We had a really wonderful stay. Staff all friendly and helpful. Restaurant was 5star as well. We can't wait to return.

The hotel is reasonably well sited and in walking distance of the old part of the city and there is a metro stop close by that takes you to anywhere in the city. There are several restaurants nearby covering affordable to more expensive menus. The hotel staff in the main were friendly and helpful and the courtyard area of the hotel is a pleasant setting for relaxing. Our only criticism of the hotel would be the bathroom in our room, which has an old fashioned hand held shower in the bath and not a walk-in shower. Generally we were satisfied with our stay.
"between termini station and the coliseum"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were helpful and allowed us the use of the room on the last day as it was not needed that night. A table and a couple of chairs would have been helpful to eat our breakfast at but that might have been because we had a triple room as that was all that was available and there was not enough space with the third bed. Overall the room was sufficient and comfotable.
"Short stay in Rome"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Nice spacious and clean room. The bed was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast in bed was very nice but the selection available in the breakfast room was brilliant. Wish we had stayed longer to be able to take full advantage of it. The bathroom was spacious with a powerful shower and a bath (bit of a novelty). The location was a bit far away from the centre for our liking but it was a reasonable walk to the metro stop which took the load off our feet a little bit. There were some nice restaurants in easy walking distance. Overall we thought the hotel was really nice and we would definately recommend it, but the location was a bit too far out for us.
"Very nice, but..."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
Very nice hotel, not cheap, but we paid extra for the convenient location and because it had a jacuzzi & sauna. The front desk staff, porters & concierge were very good. The breakfast was staggeringly overpriced and the serving staff were apathetic. They couldn't be bothered to itemize our a la carte breakfast and seemed inconvenienced when we didn't want to pay (expensive!) a head for a buffet breakfast. The spa facilities were nice and we used the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi on 2 of our 3 evenings. However, the miserable women in charge initially refused us towels on one occasion and then gave us a hand towel each reluctantly. We weren't warned but there was a private booking on the Saturday night so we were refused access that evening. We were also made to change in our room rather than the changing rooms in the spa! The spirit of Basil Fawlty still lives on... When I raised these concerns with the excellent lady on front desk (who handled my complaint superbly) she was suitably concerned and rather embarassed and explained that the Spa wasn't run by the hotel. Wish I'd known. So, by all means go, but don't visit the spa unless you're ready to argue for what you want!

"Great BB near Roma Tre and Ostiensee Roma station"
This is not place for people who want typical hotel-type hotel. This is small new B & B about 10 mins. walk from Ostiensee station (on train line that goes to Fiumicino Airport); 10 mins. from Piramide subway stop; about 30 mins. walk from University of Rome Tre. Rooms and bathrooms are new (as of April 2012) on 5th floor of apartment buidling. Kitchen […] has plenty to eat for free breakfast (as well as fridge with yoghurt and juices at other times of day). Rate was great. Decor is a bit garish, but everything was comfortable. Read more

"Easy location"
The Hotel stand in very good place, is not to far from airport and/or center of Rome, the railway from airport is very close to hotel and the metropolitan railway also. The nice thing is the key, you dont need to back in the reception, just leave your key on the desk of your room and go, the breakfast is self-service, that also is super...... you save […] your time and money...... The hotel price could be a little cheaper :-). Best regard from Austria and thanks Read more
