This was one heck of a treck from Munchen to Bad Wiessee via BOB to the Bus about an 1.5 hr commute. It's located in a picture perfect location, breathe taking. The hotel is nice, a little weird set up....got there, checked in....was walked to another building to our room. The room was fairly large for Europe. The breakfast is nice, but hours are only 7:30 -10:00, not very user friendly to those who travel by train/bus. Nothing is in English to help figure things out. Reception is closed at 8pm and no one to help until 7:30am, very dissapointing.

A lovely place to stay in the Alps. Every room has a mountain view since the town is located in a valley between two ranges. Each room has a balconey from which to view the lovely scenery. Very quiet and relaxing. Excellent front desk service.

We stayed four nights and loved every minute of our stay ,the food, staff and facilities were far superior to other three star hotels we have used and... the only way they could have improved it was to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The village is quite high in the mountains and very close to mountain walks and ski lifts. The Hotel offers free bus passes to other villages. Fuer das schlechte Wetter konnte keiner, aber das die Sauna dann erst um 17.00 Uhr oeffnet und man im Grunde keinerlei aufrenthaltsmoeglichkeiten hatte, denn das Zimmer war fasr zum Schlafen zu klein, war eher unprofessionel.

Vi var to familier som havde en overnatning på vej på skiferie, ankomst og inkvartering gik perfekt, venlig betjening, vi manglede en elevator da vi skulle have alt bagagen med op fra bilen (det frøs 26 grader). God velsmagende mad i resturanten, og store portioner. Alt i alt en rigtig god oplevelse.

Die Lage am Spitzingsee ist wirklich sehr schön. Das kleine Doppelzimmer war wirklich klein, aber sauber und der Blick auf den See ist wunderschön. Zum Skibus sind es ein paar Gehminuten und das Skigebiet Spitzingsee ist für ein Wochenende sehr schön.
