"Awesome holiday!"
The hotel is in a great spot, near all the best beaches. The hotel is also not too big so there are not too many people around all the time. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The pool and view are both awesome!

"Erg goed hotel!"

"Mooi hotel. Locatie vrij ver van het centrum"
Hotel was netjes. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Mooi zwembad.

"Luxury from a height"

A great place to get away from it all. Up on a hill and a good walk from the town (taxi only four euros, one way) of Kakori this is a great hotel if you want a quiet and relaxed holiday. A lovely pool with fantastic views out over the bay. A short but steep walk to two lovely beaches takes about ten minutes and both have lovely beach tavernas. Above all the staff are welcoming, accommodating and great fun. They look after your every need and cannot do enough for you. Our room had lovely sea views and was cleaned every day with fresh towels, plenty of hot water with a TV and fridge, with free air conditioning.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first 2 weeks of July. From the moment we arrived it was evident that we had found the best hotel in Kokkari. The staff were so friendly and did whatever they could to make our stay fantastic. Maria, Anna-Maria, Anastacia, Dimitreus, Stahis thank you so much. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the bus driver or the other staff but all of them so friendly. Our room was a garden view and was very comfortable, I asked for extra pillows and Maria brought them to our room within half an hour. The shower was very powerful and always plenty of hot water. A small fridge in the room that was very quiet so didn't keep waking us up at night. The bed was comfortable. There is a tv in the room with limited channels but personally I didn't go on holiday to watch tv. Aircon, safe and toiletries all free and the room was cleaned everyday. Towels changed everyday and sheets every other day. Towels for pool/beach were supplied and always plenty in the reception area. The pool was on the slightly cold side and may have been used more if it was a little warmer. There were always plenty of sunbeds and there was no loud music playing. The hotel offered light lunches which were of very good quality. Breakfast served between 730 and 1000, and a good variety of hot or cold, fruits, yoghurt, cold meats, pancakes, cereal, tea, coffee, juices etc. All were replenished as they ran out. There is a lovely seating area next to the reception area with comfy sofas and chairs and a tv. This is the best place to get wifi which is free and can drop out occasionally. There is a free courtesy bus that runs 945, 11.00, 12.00, 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00 and it goes 1st to Lemonakia beach then Tsamdou beach and then into Kokkari. The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking Kokkari and it is quite a steep hill up to get to it. We did walk back to the hotel most nights but the taxi only charges 4 euros if you don't fancy the walk. You can cut through the neighbouring hotel to get down into town and cuts about 5 minutes off the journey time. Although quite steep on the way back it seems shorter than taking the road. Overall this is a fabulous hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend.

"Got to remain the number 1 choice!"

Whilst many of the reviews show as 'Excellent' we think with a few tweaks we would give it an excellent rating as it would be nice to have the option of tea/coffee making facilities and a decent fridge, not just a mini bar. The Staff, accommodation and location are all fabulous, but some of the fittings are looking a little tired and could do with repair or replacement. One small negative is the position on the hill above the town as it is a steep climb home if you don't want a taxi. However, saying that, the hotel is a peaceful setting at night and you can get your sleep without resorting to earplugs. Nice touches include free towels for the beach/sun deck, fresh & fluffy bathroom towels everyday, ambiance and décor. Another nice touch is the free mini-bus ride to the local beaches (Tsamadou & Lemonakia) and to town, but it would be nice if the mini-bus ran a bit later, say 19:30 and 20:00 to get you into town to save the not too unpleasant walk down the hill. We liked the following restaurants and bars, LaBousala, Meltemi, Piccolo Porto, Apollon and the Cavos and Manos bars.

"Perfect holiday"

Hotel kept immaculately clean in all areas, rooms comfortable, lovely pool and amazing views. Staff cannot do enough for you. Shuttle bus is run to the beaches and town but the walk down the hill through the adjoining hotel was really not an issue and you can get to Lemonakia beach in just over 10 minutes. We preferred this beach to the others. Breakfast was really varied with cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese, fruit, yoghurt, cake, sausages and a different hot egg dish each day. The breakfast room takes in the beautiful panoramic view of Kokkari. We did not have a bad meal in Kokkari but particularly enjoyed eating around the harbour. Probably a good 20 minutes walk to there but a lot of people seemed to get taxis there or back (or both) and I think it was around 5 euros. For anyone concerned about the current problems in Greece our experience was no different to any other year (this was first week in July). If I could improve anything here the air conditioning could have been a bit colder and a more effective fridge in the room would have been good (it was the mini bar fridge and kept cold drinks cold but would not chill the bottles of water we purchased. For the last 2 days of our stay there was one family with children and we did choose this particular hotel as it is adults only with Thomson, obviously tour operators from other countries don't market it as that. This probably ranks as one of our favourite holidays in Greece and it is highly likely we will return.

"Wonderful relaxing Hotel"

Just come back from a wonderful week spent in this Hotel. The Hotel and staff are excellent, very clean and fantastic pool area, very relaxing. The resort of Kokkari is very pretty with many wonderful friendly Greek staff in all of the restaurants and bars. Samos is a beautiful island and we have already booked the Kalidon Panorama Hotel for next year, two weeks this time and can't wait to get back! Looking forward to seeing everybody in the Hotel and resort next year.

"Quality hotel in a scenic location"
07/07/15 gway25 London
This is a lovely hotel, finished and maintained to a high standard and managed by excellent staff. The public areas are comfortable and stylish (free WiFi available) and there's a good choice of food at breakfast. We chose a sea view room which came with a large balcony overlooking the bay. Well worth the extra money. The hotel is up a steep hill on a narrow road but the views towards the sea are wonderful. If you miss the hotel's regular shuttle, a taxi from Kokkari is only a few Euros. Kokkari and the pebble beaches of Lemonakia and Tsamadou are a comfortable stroll away, or you can catch the shuttle which calls at both on its way to Kokkari. [NB the right-hand side of Tsamadou beach is allocated to naturists]. Samos is a scenically beautiful, relaxed island (rather than a party island), easy to explore on foot or with a hired car. We really enjoyed our stay.

"Relaxing and peaceful"

All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Always had time for a chat and a laugh. Room was an adequate size with plenty of space for clothes etc. Free use of safe in wardrobe. Cleaners serviced room every day although we never saw or heard them. Plenty of hot water. No plug in the sink but you could ask for one if needed. Quiet pool area, no trouble getting sun beds. Towels provided, you collect and return to reception when you need them. Plenty of choice at breakfast, something for everyone. Of course the views are amazing, only downside to that is you are up a hill. Walking down is okay, there is a short cut through the hotel next door although the path is a little steep so not to be done in heels. Only managed the walk back a couple of times. Hotel shuttle minibus takes you into Kokkari and two nearby beaches during the day which we made use of. Taxi was €4 one way from the church in Kokkari back to the hotel in the evening. I think this is the best resort on the island. We stayed in June so there was no air conditioning. I think it's free from July though. Overall a fabulous relaxing holiday, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Would definitely go back!

Travelled with friends. Found this hotel to be a terrific place to stay on this beautiful island. Would reiterate all previous positive comments. Wonderful views; fantastic staff; very clean and well maintained; good food; lovely facilities. Shuttle bus to local beach and town centre was a bonus! Kokkari has lots to offer. - great bars - loved Waves Cafe Bar in particular - and fantastic restaurants. If you hire a car there are a few sandy beaches to find with less wind - our favouries were Limionas and Psilli Amos. Anna-Maria; Maria; Anastasia; the smiley night porter and the breakfast host - Dimitri deserve special mention - thank you for making our holiday so special. Love from your Ticketty Boo friends.

Just returned from a week at the Kalidon Panorama. Second visit to this lovely hotel and couldn't fault anything about it. Dont let the Greek economic situation put you off going to this country. The people are great and cannot do enough to ensure you have a great time.
