We really enjoyed our stay at To Palio last week. The old-castle-look of the house is simply amazing and makes it a unique experience. The owners are very nice and we enjoyed our conversations with them. They provided us good advices on the hiking trails around, which were easy to get to (actually we could walk directly into the mountain from the hotel). […] The breakfast was excellent! The room was clean and confortable. The hotel is a little walk from the centre of Litohoro where you can find plenty of restaurants. We greatly recommend this hotel. Read more

To be honest we booked this hotel because it was cheaper than some alternatives... well what a pleasant surprise on arrival. The rooms was beautiful with loads of character and spotlessly clean. The location is quiet, right on the fringes of the old town as you start to climb up into the foothills of Olympus. It's about a 10 minute walk (steep - 15 […] minutes back!) to the square where all the restaurants seems to be. Breakfast was the best we have ever had on holiday with an amazing choice, home made jams etc. Service excellent, the owners gave a map of how to find it (sounds silly but the streets are like a maze) and there is literature in the rooms of what to see and do in the area. vue superbe sur le mont olympe,déco adorable et de tres bon goût To palio veut dire "le passé" et la déco est bien dans le l'idée.La maison a été refaite recemment mais avec des materiaux d'epoque et a la maniere des anciens....le petit dej fait maison ...même les oeufs viennent de leurs poules mais surtout n'oubliez pas le petit plan que votre hôte […] vous offre avant de partir dans le village car rien ne ressemble plus à une rue en pente ,qu'une autre rue en pente!!! surtout la nuit!!!!!
