The setting was beautiful and it was great to have a break from busy city life. Drive up from cochin took about 4 hours and very nice once out of urban... area. Roads narrow and windy but speed slow so not too much of an issue. Well worth it to see the tea plantations. Not really a lot to do but very peaceful and had great massage at the hotel. If one plans to do sight seeing, one is better off staying in the city rather than this 6-7 kms resort. The cottages are located in the hills and the path to and fro the reception is very steep and not conducive for walking multiple times in a day. The restaurant is very sub standard - limited menu and very bad cooking (even of dosas). The staff is […] courteous.
