I had the pleasure of staying at this Hotel on two occasions. Each time, my room was clean and pleasant with helpful friendly staff and on first name terms. Breakfast was ample and quite good. If there was a negative, it would be that WI-FI was not available in rooms. Hotel was a 1 minute walk to local train station and all local bars and restaurants. Good value for money.

The thing that sticks out the most especially if you have not been to Thailand before is that the hotel has a pretty active restaurant. The meal I had there (Masaman curry), was ok I guess. The owner seemed like a good guy. I reccomend not using Booking.com with this hotel, because they have a lot of issues with that website (first they marked me for a no-show, then screwed up my reservation, but I'm not holding either against them because they made up for it and told me about their issues with booking). The room is pretty basic for 1000 baht, and I don't think you can get much cheaper in this area without being in some seriously old and run down places. You can't beet the location either about a minute from the BTS.

Stayed 2 nights in Star Inn... had a good experience.. Easy access to train to different places as its just 1 min walk to Nana Station. I took Airport link from airport to Phaya Thai and changed train to get down at Nana station which is the easy way to come to hotel without any hastle. Staffs and receptionist are very good specially Ms Molly who helped me to where to go for sight scene and happening places.. Always serve with smile which i liked the most. ** Be aware of male staffs and taxi guy of this hotel as they try to drag you for massage centers for which they have good commission. Rooms were clean and good... Aircon was working fine... Rooms were cleaned everyday. There is lift in the hotel.. Safe deposit is down behind the receptionist area. Close to SOI Cowboy. Nana Plaza , bars and restaurants. Overall perfect location and value for money hotel

The staff here was friendly and great. My room was the quintessential love hotel room, with a mirror on the ceiling and the room was big enough to fit the bed and tv. This hotel is next to Bangkok Beat and girlie bars, so not good for families. You can hear the beat from the club at night and if you are looking for it, it wouldn't be hard to find a lady friend to share the night with you. Hotel is also near the Nana BTS by the Subway restaurant.
"Perfect for Solo, 1 min. walk to Skytrain"

Perfect location, close to BTS, secluded in Soi 7/1, off the traffic noice from sukhumvit road! room was clean, sevice was ok, as long as you give some tip.... restaurant and the beer is a bit pricy.... It ain't the Ritzl!! but a good budget deal close to Nana... try to get a room with a window towards the Soi, you won't need the TV....

I dont expect much for an 800 bht a night 'hotel' on the edge of Nana but I stayed as my friend said it would suit our needs of a flying visit to Bangkok for a visa run. He had also stayed previously on a booze trip. Arrived early and were met by a cheeky chappy who took our breakfast order inc beer. My wife went to check in and the reception staff were so helpful, they even warned the missus about our windowless room booked via Agoda. A few beers later and up to the room. Me and the wife both laughed about the mirrors on the ceiling and the one missing shower door that left the floor soaked but hey it's Soi 7/1. Apart from a noisy neighbour playing his TV at 3am we had a good nights sleep and checked out the next morning. Now this is where the Star Inn Hotel gets my five stars. I left a favourite pair of shirts and belt in the room. We realised and my wife called the hotel and I sent an e-mail. Well the staff had the shorts packed in a box and in the post within 2 hours of being asked and the shorts arrived home this morning. Well done Star Inn Hotel. You are now my preferred hotel for Bangkok and I will be recommending you to friends passing through.

We recently completed our second stay at this hotel. We arrived at 7am and they allowed us an early check in which was fantastic. The hotel is situated right next to BTS nana station which makes it a great location. If arriving by bus, it takes about 15 minutes to get here from BTS mo chit and it is only about 10 minutes from Siam. The staff are great and very friendly- they will even change channels for you in the lobby if you want to watch specific sports games. The food in the hotel is delicious and not anymore expensive to the other restaurants in this area. We will be trying here again when we go back to Bangkok. If you are travelling on to don mueng from here it will cost around 150 - 200 badht in a taxi from here taking around 25 minutes.

It was a wonderful experience to stay there. I stayed there for 3 days. Its in soi 7/1 and the nearest hotel from Nana BTS. I took the room on the 4th floor(front facing) as I knew that from tripadvisor reviews earlier that the lower deck front room can be quiet noisy because of the pubs nearby. The best things about the hotel is its staff and cozy looks. Though you may find few hotel of same standard budget in Sukhumvit, yet to have such a location and staff, wont be easy. Here I would specially like to mentioned name of the lady staff named Ms Molly, who was ever smiling and also has guided me well on how to go to other places using the BTS. Though the room was small(1000/ bath) yet the design was better and the bathroom was good. There were few pubs and massage parlour in the same lane. If you want a decent massage the Pratip massage parlour is the best, which is just opposite to the hotel. Breakfast I didn't like much though the dinner was average. Would highly recommend to low budget travellers but please make sure that your room is immune to outside noises before booking.

We stayed here for 1 night only. It is only 30 seconds to BTS Nana Station. Hotel surrounded by pubs & bars, restaurants, food stalls and foot/ thai massage. 2 minutes walk to Soi 11. It is very convenient to go to anywhere from here. Hotel breakfast was nice with reasonable price. They have a small Lift inside the hotel but it was ok to me, rather than using a staircase go up to 4th Floor (our room) with heavy luggage. Hotel staffs was very friendly and they will greet you all the time whenever they see you. Room was small, clean and no bed bugs. They have small TV inside the room with more than 30 channels. I will definitely come back and stay here on my next trip to Bangkok!
