A very good place, both in reality and in its potentials! 15 days in Kokkari, not Samos Town

"Cheap, good location, great pool/bar -needs update"
good price. good location near ladies beach. great pool and bar. large rooms. but the rooms, lobby can use some serious updates. our room has a strong order of sewage that was a real turn-off. some of the windows also didn't lock very well and there wasn't a security lock box option either.

"Value for money hotel"
Fairly basic hotel but good value for money, we were given air con and use of fridge free, usual cost about 10euros per day. Room very clean, beautiful sea view. Free wi-fi.

"The Hôtel we liked the less during our stay in Sam"
we were disappointed by this hotel ; quality and price were not good , the staff had only a commercial attitude. When we arrived, the fridge was not working without an adaptor, the room was out of date, with a telephone wire badly plugged in the wall behind my pillow. Breakfast was a minimum, the fruit "juice" was mostly watery.

"Great value for money"
Kokkari Beach Hotel is a lovely place located in the best part of Kokkari beach. Rooms are very convenient, beds could have been better. It's a very clean hotel. It's 10 meters to the most amazing turqoise blue sea. The breakfast could have a little more variety. Overall, it's a cosy, convenient beautiful hotel in Samos.

"Well located, but many sleepless nights"
07/21/15 Christine T Windhoek, Namibia
The hotel is in a very good location. But it is a typical Greek hotel. Basic rooms with hard pillows and beds and a very small shower. Can live with that as that is how we know Greece to be after 14 years of visiting every year. BUT there was some machinery on the roof that droned persistently during our stay. Most nights very very loud and annoying , making it near impossible to sleep. They did do some repair work on our second to last day big the noise still persisted albeit slightly softer. In addition the rooms have no black out curtains, the shutters barely keep out the light so you also have light streaming into the rooms at night. While I enjoyed the holiday am rather looking forward to a good nights sleep. If you do stay there make sure you request a room far away from 306 as would imagine the noise will not travel that far.

"Comfortable and interesting hotel"

The location of the Kokari Beach is excellent, on the main road along the Kokkari sea front opposite the main beach. It's almost at the further end of the road so a short walk into the town centre. The facilities are clean and adequate, with availability depending on the time of year. The rooms are interestingly decorated and comfortable enough. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but there is also an associated restaurant just across the road. On the minus side, many rooms don't have a sea view and the balconies are cramped with cheap plastic chairs. There is onsite parking but very limited and tight to get into, but usually plenty of space on the road outside.

Nice clean hotel. My room was large enough. The room was a little out of date, but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. Bathroom was good shower small. It was well worth the stay for the price. The staff were extremely friendly. I felt very comfortable there if I come back to Samos would stay at the Kokkaribeach hotel again

"A good bedroom and bathroom"

The Kokkari Beach Hotel is situated across the road from the beach. They have a very deep pool for adults and a kids pool. We enjoyed it. Although the hotel looks very "kitsch" from the outside it is super clean. The rooms are clean, large and the bathrooms are the best Ive seen in Kokkari. Plenty of hot water. The breakfast is terrible!!! horrible eggs, horrible yoghurt, ok cheese and cold meat i highly recommend not even bothering to go down for breakfast. The bread rolls are about the only edible part of the breakfast as they are fresh. Disgusting orange juice which is such a shame, as Kokkari village restaurants, in general, serve the best orange juice i've ever had. The gentleman that runs the breakfast area is a character, but a little rude. The ladies at reception are lovely. Here is a tip!!! Book your car rentals through these ladies. Insist that they NOT use the first car rental on the beach side of the road next to the Taj. This guy is not a fair man. There are many other places up the road that rent cars and they seem very honest and genuine. The ladies at the reception did something very kind for us when we did end up having a very bad experience with the owner of the car rental. There is no internet in the room that we stayed in. I liked the hotels bar across the road called the Taj. Another Tip!!! make sure your price includes the aircon and the fridge, its such a shock when they show you to your room and say, if you want to use the fridge and aircon its extra!!!!

"Near the beach"

Simple but clean hotel just a few meters from the beach. But you have to cross the street to get there. Some good restaurants in the near. Very poor breakfast, only one bread and maragine! No view from the rooms. If you just want to stay for a couple of nights it is okey.

"Clean but worst breakfast"
09/11/13 Tomas_Pr Prague, Czech Republic
Hotel is good, very clean, with nice staff and good swimming pool and in beautiful location - ideal for night walking through the whole Kokkari and enjoying "quiet nightlife" - i. e. not discos but sitting with the drinks in some reastaurant on the coast :-) Aircondition for 6 euro/day and fridge for 4 euro/day. We stayed in the first floor so no aircondition was needed however in upper floors it was necessary. A bit of mosquitos but not tragedy. But breakfasts are worst - you will get each day exactly the same, no change. Tea, coffee, cheese, "ham", hard boiled egg, jam, honey, youghourt, tomatoes and a cake (still the same). After 11 days you are looking forward back to home for some small change :-(

"Clean but essential"

I had to go to Agios Konstantinos for work. A friend of mine suggested me to stay in Kokkari. This hotel is clean and has a very good position, but it is very essential. Therefore, depending on what you are looking for, it may be a good choice or not. Here is a list of what I liked about the hotel: - Very clean - Directly on the beautiful beach of Kokkari (note that it is made by stones and not by sand) and close to nice restaurants on the beach - Courteous staff - Comfortable bed - Big bedroom - Free Internet access And here is what I have not liked: - Some lights and electrical outlets not working or bad positioned (e.g., the socket of the bathroom is just outside the bathroom) - I have not been given the remote for air conditioning. Without air conditioning the room becomes too warm during the night. - No way to avoid the light enter into the room in the early morning (i.e., 5:00AM) - Not comfortable pillows - Empty mini-bar - No soap in the bathroom I suggest this place only if you are looking for a cheap place close to a beautiful beach.

"Dated decor but still a great place to stay"
07/08/12 woodm28 Manchester
Stayed at the Kokkari Beach for a couple of nights during an independent trip to Samos and really enjoyed our stay. Warm welcome from the staff on Reception who were able to offer us a corner sea view room on the 3rd floor complete with breakfast at a very good rate. Yes the decor is dated, bedroom furniture and bathroom arrangement typically Greek but the room was clean and comfortable with very little road noise. Being able to take continental breakfast on a tray to tables around the lovely pool area at the back of the hotel was a great way to start each sunny day. The hotel also runs a more stylish cafe bar on the beach side of the road where delicious salads and drinks were served with a smile. In fact the whole street where the hotel is located had such a great selection of bars, tavernas and shops it was a pleasure to be there. Some may find the hotel doesn't live up to the description in the Thomsons Brochure but for a short break it was good enough for us.

Pros --Location-across from beach, easy walk to everything but not in busy area --Staff very friendly/helpful --Breakfast-nice enough --Let us check out at 1PM no extra charge Cons: --Air-conditioning, safe and fridge cost extra (10 Euros if want all) --wifi is free, but not available in our room. --had dispensers for shower gel/shampoo, but not filled so only provided bar soap.
