"Very nice"
Our stay was very nice. Both people at the deck was very nice. The room was very nice and clean. The heat worked. The outside was very clean and freshly painted. And most important it was very quiet. The were cars in the parking lot but not a single sound. It was like we were the only ones there. I do recomend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"This is not your father's motel."
I'm sure this 1950's style motel was the top of the line back when it was new, but now it is an okay clean and inexpensive room that I would not recommend unless you are only looking for a place to sleep - arrive late at night and leave early in the morning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Satisfying stay for two nights"
I had some personal business near town and needed a place for a couple of nights. I was pleased with the room and the service provided. I booked through Expedia and the price was more than fair. I take insulin and the room had a refrigerator for that. There was also a microwave, TV, and coffee pot. My only complaint would be that the TV didn't have […] a really good picture and the A/C unit was a little loud, although it worked well. Didn't care for the bug spray odor in the office, but it was free of bugs. It was intended just for the one night but my schedule changed and so I only used the room for a few hours around lunch to rest a bit and then checked out the same day as check-in. Very poor customer service at front desk. This hotel is definitely a throwback with technology. The room was overall uncomfortable. Even tried charging me extra after I left the hotel. "Hotel itself was as expected. The owner was rude."
We booked our stay here last November. The confirmation that was emailed to me clearly stated that the stay was booked as one room for two people which was my intent. To my surprise when I showed up this month (April) the owner or whom I assume was the owner told me that I was expected to pay an extra 15 dollars a day in order for my husband (the second […] person) to stay with me. I questioned why and he said because it "was country thunder weekend". Ok granted it's a big business weekend for them but I felt that they were obligated to honor my reservation that was made originally because they had no valid reason in my mind to assess extra fees out of nowhere just because they felt like it. Anyway I refused to pay the extra 15 dollars a day for a guest who had already been paid for and he basically threw the hotel key at me and said "fine the room is for one person he (pointing at my husband) is not allowed to stay with you and if I see him anywhere on the property you will no longer have that room." For sake of not arguing we walked away. We barely used the room after that but in 4 days they never turned down the bed or brought a clean towel in the room. If you plan to stay here for the sake of that one weekend a year and you can get the room dirt cheap it may be worth a small headache. If for any other reason don't bother. "Good for a short stay"
This is a perfect hotel for just a one-night stay. The room had a sort of musty odor but was quickly fixed with my travel room freshened! Though this motel was itself small and in a very small town, it was exceptionally clean and well stocked: the room had 2 queen beds, a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffee maker.
